No ac no fan nothing so hot

The room had a nice view and there was some effort to clean but carpet and furniture were beat up and nothing updated for years. This is basically a residential hotel or homeless shelter and homeless people surround it as well.

The owner was amazing and super helpful. Offered lots of helpful services to us. Our trip truly would have been more difficult without him!

Close and reasonably priced. Shuttle around town available. Quite older hotel that had what you need to have a restful night stay.

Elevator doors would not open at times and we were staying on the 4th floor, so we ended up walking up the stairs. The room had one towel although two of us were staying there so we had to request more. The desk chair was missing one arm. Lots of dust in the laundry room.

Rooms were not cleaned well. Bathroom door was broken.

No smoking sign but smelled like smoke, burn marks all over the carpet

Wouldn’t stay at the property again. Run down property. We had booked a rom for two people with a kingsize bed and when we arrived there were no duvet and only one set of towels and only two pillows. When asking for extra pillows we were told there were no extra pillows and we also had to go down to the reception to get the blanket and towels.

The rooms smelled and were barely acceptable. Was able to keep my window open. Bathroom was…… The free breakfast was amazingly bad. No bowls for cereal. Frozen waffles out of the plastic wrapping in an ice encrusted freezer compartment. I wasn’t starving so I went elsewhere. This place needs a remodel. They have good staff.

This was absolutely the worst super eight I have ever stayed at and for $181 a night total rip off couldn’t find the help the room smelled all the baseboards corners anything that might be hard to clean was dirty their super starter breakfast consisted of bagels in the refrigerator bread in the refrigerator gallon of milk. The juice machine was broke, and that was the extent of the super starter breakfast. A very disappointed I know I’ll never do that again.

Clean rooms but a very old hotel. They didn't tell us about the complimentary ride from the airport either. Cheap place for just 1 night

I left as soon as I booked another place. The first room I went into was under maintenance, the next was run down, dirty, had sewer gas leak, and smelled like someone lived in there with a cat (because people are living there). The walls were filthy there were spots that had unknown substances on them some spots where it was maybe food on the ceiling the rest of the walls had rotten spots and holes in them, the siding was so rotted you could stick your finger through it, small bits of broken glass in a spot in the hallway… I’m familiar with the hotel as a budget hotel since I’ve been around southeast Alaska since 2010, I’m from southeast Alaska, I wasn’t expecting the world, the price was cheap but it was so dirty I couldn’t stay.

We were helped by a very nice an attentive gentleman at check in and check out. On the way out he requested that we leave a "good review if we can" which saddened me because it appears that he may be the only one trying to keep this hotel alive. It is horribly maintained and although it appeared to be clean the grungy atmosphere made it impossible to really feel clean. Despite the nice guy and his impossible task we wouldn't be returning.
