The Lodge

Exceptional

We loved everything about the Lodge, from the friendly and welcoming owners who were very flexible to our late arrival. To the tasty breakfast in the morning and the close proximity to the old town via ‘the walks’ park, to the well appointed and large comfortable room which had everything we needed. A nice touch also to have a mini fridge with milk and bottled water. There was nothing to dislike

Super comfortable bed.. decor was lovely and fresh.. Great location, very quiet and peaceful. 10min walk into town.. host was very friendly and made a great breakfast Nothing

Second stay at the Lodge, lovely place, clean and comfortable, nice bed sheets, pillows and duvets. Nice breakfast and cater for gluten intolerance very well

The hotel owners were very welcoming on arrival, overnight stay was nice and quiet and situated in a good location, breakfast was very nice and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. The only thing I feel the hotel lacked was the shower room, the shower was very poor, water pressure was poor and I would recommend an electric shower to improve its performance.

Close to town centre, pleasant walk through local park. Well presented and equipped, clean and comfortable No issues to report

Malcolm carried our suitcase upstairs. Lovely room with a bath and shower, two comfy armchairs and a little table with current magazines. Nice old type dresser with Tea/ Coffee etc. Lovely middle area outside the bathroom with a modern wonderful lighted dresser and stool. Plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, cooked well! Ten out of Ten. Would definitely stay there again when visiting relatives. Shower head was not very powerful. New shower head would solve that and I really should have mentioned it. No hot chocolate sachets.

The hosts were really welcoming. The bright sunny room was lovely and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble - for example one of us was doing a park run and couldn't have breakfast so the hosts provided a breakfast cum lunch which was very welcome. Nothing

Breakfast was well organised and comprised of cereals fruit yoghurts cooked Full English and toast and jam. the Coffee was good The bed didnt feel flat, and very hot, not so good in a hot summer

Clean, comfortable and with excellent breakfast The location for the town is good. We stayed during a heatwave and needed to keep the windows open at night and the location meant it was quite noisy.

Una & Malcolm could not have done more. Welcoming, cleanliness, the expert decor, beautiful breakfast (easily catering for my Coeliac issues), attention to every detail and excellent suggestion from Una ref evening meal 'Mem's Kitchen' in King'sLynn was spot on. If we are ever in the area we won't be looking elsewhere. Thank you so much There is nothing we didn't like

Delicious freshly cooked breakfast, cereal, juice, toast, coffee, tea - delicious. Hosts Malcolm and Ena very friendly and welcoming.
