No breakfast but good value

This is a university dorm, so rooms are basic (this is reflected in the cost). The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean and well maintained. Large parking lot across the street for $16 per day. Easy walk to the main street, waterfront parks. The kingston hospital has an auxillary cafe which was good for an inexpensive breakfast. There were a few glitches at checkin. The key didn't work at first. After they changed it, there was someone already in that room. Third try got me into another room. The room was very cold and there did not seem to be a thermostat. I found it in the adjoining room the next day.

The small bathroom got very wet with several people showering - need a fan in there!!

Conveniently located to downtown Kingston and the Queen’s University Campus! Freshly clean towels and bed linens, blackout curtains and a comfortable mattress. Very clean rooms. Affordable! Heard voices of other people as the hallways are not carpeted throughout the residence.

Parking difficulties. Room we reserved not ready. City wide power outage. Elevator stopped working. Room very small.

Everything was easy, really nice building and the temperature was great in the room- which is hit and miss in downtown Kingston in the summer. There should be hand soap in the bathroom for health and sanitation. I get that you are supposed to bring your own toiletries, but soap is a bare minimum to stop the spread of disease in a public bathroom.

Very clean room, great for the price and has two closed bedrooms, perfect for friends outings or families.

The location and cleanliness and the staff are excellent

Great place for a short stay, it has all the essential. Enjoy the complementary coffee and tea in the morning. Remember to bring your own hair dryer and toiletry. Everything you would need to have if you were a student.

The reception team was very friendly and helpful. The TVs in rooms had issues so could only be used if users had a computer and HDMI cable.

Close to pier and downtown TVs don’t work and “IT does not work on weekends” even though some of our party arrived on a Thursday

The rooms had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It brought back memories of my university days while living on campus. Being able to cook in the common room was a bonus although we had to bring pots, pans, dishes and utensils as there were none available, which was expected. I had to work briefly during my stay and the desk provided had outlets and USB ports, which was perfect. The housekeeping team was friendly and attentive. The support staff at the call center was quite helpful in resolving some of our concerns as well. The rooms are not soundproof to the hallway wall. Bring earplugs if you are bothered by that as slightest voice conversations in the hallway as they can be heard inside the room. It was a bit noisy at times during our stay but most guests respected the night time hours as nothing was heard after 11pm until 8am in the morning. Everyone was doing their part to keep the environment quiet during the night time. This has nothing to do with the facility but you might want to pay attention to the expiry time when you park across the street and pay the daily max. The expiry time says 12am the next day, which can give someone the impression that you can park there until the end of next day, which is not the case.

The staff was very pleasant and the room was fine as well as the location. There was no breakfast and the closest restaurant was far away.
