Location. Facade. People I met at breakfast. Room really needed a good cleaning. Dusty and smelled moldy. The showerheads did not work. Instead water squirted straight out of designated holes on the wall. Ended up squirting so hard hitting the back wall and spilled onto the floor ( maybe be why the musty smell). When I called the desk, she could not tell me how to make the water come out of the shower head instead of the side wall. She was sorry about not being able to help, but it ruined my hope for a pleasant stay and taking a shower in the morning. The breakfast was not special either. I’m not usually a complainer, but I was disappointed.

Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Our suite was spacious It stated unit was on the ground floor. The bedroom and bathroom were up the stairs. Not a problem for us but others should take notice. The Inn says no TV. The carriage house has a TV so that’s a positive

Cozy comfortable well managed hotel . A perfect place for family reunions and events . Charming atmosphere of a 19-th century mansion located on a quiet street and surrounded by a beautiful garden.
-
The location was perfect in a beautiful residential area and within walking distance to the waterfront and downtown. A nice breakfast and we loved the personal touches, homemade cookies and very friendly staff.
-
Location is further away from the restaurants and shopping than I expected. Parking is also very limited at the house. Too far away from retail locations and attractions. Several homeless people and beggars scattered in the downtown area.

So historic but modernized Parking was tight

Insufficient parking on site. There was a solution but a short walk was required to get to your vehicle.

Everything is perfect. The room and garden are beautiful. Looks better than pictured.
-
Lovely building, excellent location Room decor was ugly and poorly executed, didn’t match the elegance of the home. Chandeliers in dining room had cobwebs, picture frames in hall way were dusty.
-
Lovely building in Centre of residential area with easy walk to downtown and water Needed another electrical outlet for plug ins

Beautiful picturesque old house with a lot of character. Good breakfast.

Location walkable to downtown Quiet neighbourhood Comfortable We had the same room as two years ago. We paid a premium to get it. Unfortunately the property has not being maintained. In the suite, the shower door does not close and vanity taps move around (not anchored from below). The gardens (which should be spectacular in such a heritage property) are in a state of total neglect. People are damaging their front bumpers backing out of the parking. The vaunted breakfast is a far cry from two years ago.

Nice old house in a good location Lack of facilities no tv cold room with no heating. It’s just a very basic b&b in an old house and very overpriced

Absolutely stunning place. I booked for one night for my convocation. It was such a perfect chapter to close my days in Kingston. The building is beautiful, decent both from outside and interior. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Chris helped me a lot! I really appreciate that. The buffet is small amazing dining area with beautiful scene. No hair dryer

Breakfast was very nice but we had requested gluten free options and were told there would be some but the only option turned out to be fruit. Not a huge deal but something would have been helpful.
-
Excellent location close to downtown.

This place has so much character the kind of property that feels rooted in history and atmosphere the second you walk in.

I was only in town for a few days, but this was exactly what I needed. The room was spotless, quiet, and cozy. I slept like a baby. When I first arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a pleasant smile. This was a great choice and I felt kinda bougie staying there LOL It was within walking distance to DT area (maybe like 5-8 minute walk). Couldn't have been happier! I really can't think of anything. Maybe a list of recommended areas? I can't remember if this was provided, so if it was, then no complaints. Many thanks!
