Set a 5-minute walk from the Kitzbühel town center, family-run Pension Schmidinger enjoys a quiet location only 2625 feet from the Hahnenkamm cable car. It offers a rich breakfast buffet. Free Wi-Fi is available. All comfortably furnished rooms with attached bathroom feature fantastic views of the Kitzbühl Streif slope or the surrounding mountains. Some also have a balcony. Guests can relax in the large garden of the Schmidinger guest house or enjoy their breakfast on the terrace in summer. Vitalized Grander Water is provided in the entire house. Guests can also get active at the nearby bowling alley and tennis courts or go ice-skating, snowboarding and skiing in winter. Ski storage is on site. The Aquarena public swimming pool is only a short walk away from the Schmidinger. Several restaurants and bars are also nearby. Parking is free of charge.

Staff was so kind and welcoming and provided a lot of helpful information. Breakfast was delicious and the location was only a few minutes walk from a shuttle that goes to the main base lift of the mountain. Would definitely love to come back!

There is no elevator so had to carry luggage up a flight of stairs.

This charming quaint hotel is like from a fairy tale! Very close to the main Hahnenkamm ski lift, extremely clean, meticulously and beautifully decorated in the authentic local style. The owners and staff are super friendly, welcoming, always available and easy-to-communicate with. And the breakfasts are top notch - highest quality with clean local produce, dairy, honey (which can even be purchased in jars to take home with you). Perfect for any time of the year, but was especially festive during Christmas when we stayed, the owners provided Christmas Eve aperitif and opportunity for all the guests to cheer and mingle together, which was an extra unexpected bonus. Thank you very much, Barbara and the family!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Barbara the host was very friendly and helpful and the location was ideal. Few minutes walk to the main lift. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous views. Great buffet breakfast. Lovely hosts. Great ski locker but it’s still a 900 m walk to gondola. So you might want to pay for one closer to the lift.
