I was so frustrated. Why didn't someone tell me that I had to knock? I was waiting outside in the cold and in the middle of nowhere after 12 hours of travel. The place was old, the room cold, and the bedsheets smelly.

Nothing Tiny room, dodgy staircase, no tea/coffee facilities no parking available. No hotel sign and looked like a construction site.

The location was good - about a ten/fifteen minute walk into the centre - along the river and through the park or by the road - both routes about the same. The outside of the hotel was being redecorated and reception was not open but easy to check in by calling a number. Very quiet location and we slept well. The room was in the eaves so not easy to sit up in bed. Room was large and on the second floor. Perfectly adequate bathroom. there was a kettle to make tea/coffee but need your own supply. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but you can opt for it - breakfast is only until 9am. We took breakfast in the cafes in the town. Excellent value for money and would stay again. A later breakfast may have been helpful. There are no communal areas or bar etc so nowhere to stay when it rains.

"Hotel Pelikan" is located in Kitzingen, not far from A3 highway. A great place to rest after or before a long day of driving. The building is wooden and it feels like being at home.

Nothing Nothing was good, toilet is too dirty and smelly.

Nothing There is no one at the reception, you can only call for someone to come out. The sound insulation is terrible, we could hear all the sounds from the neighboring rooms. You can’t normally take a bath in the shower, the water temperature instantly changes as soon as someone turns on the cold water, we had boiling water and vice versa. The bath towels had bloody stains and holes in them. the bedding also had holes in it.

One man show, trying his best, he was a good guy but cannot make miracles. One man show, trying his best, he was a good guy but cannot make miracles. Shampoo was missing. Pillow not comfy at all Shower would be better thermostatically controlled, I literally burned my skin when suddenly the water served a 80 degrees maybe water for few seconds !

I did not stay for breakfast. Overall the hotel was ok, friendly staff, room ok, clean bathroom. For 50 euro per night it is ok.
