We loved the vibes at Mvuvi. The staff were kind and welcoming. The beach area was nice and the food was good too!

✔ Excellent location with a beautiful view ✔ Very clean and well-maintained property ✔ Amazing, friendly, and helpful staff ✔ Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere ✖ Food service was very slow ✖ Long waiting times even with few guests ✖ Had to order food very early to avoid missing daily trips and activities

The hotel is located next to the sea with a sand beach. It has two facilities located ~100m from each another and the guests are free to use both. Just for you to know, you will be bothered with lots of locals trying to sell stuff as in the most of the beaches in Zanzibar. But let me say what I liked at the hotel: - Very friendly staff. We were checked-in a bit earlier and they offered us a free room upgrade and overall the stuff was very attentive to any needs we might possibly have. They have a local board game called Bao. One of the staff member showed us how to play and it was very nice and interesting. - Restaurants. Delicious meals and drinks - Comfy Rooms. - Great and clean pool (which you need when the sea is in low tide) - Sometimes the stuff cares for you too much :) When you want to have some quiet rest and do not want to talk to anybody but many people from the stuff coming to talk to you. It's good anyways but sometimes it might be a little bit too much Overall, I rate the stay for ~9.5 of 10 and thank to the stuff since they work hard to make sure your holiday is perfect. Thanks again, guys!

The grounds are relaxing, beach access easy, staff helpful and friendly All hotels along the beach have quite aggressive vendors on the beach which makes it a little uncomfortable to walk on the beach

Staff were super friendly

Very friendly staff. Lovely grounds including swimming pool. The beach was disappointing - when walking on it, feet sank a long way into the sand. Quite a long way from the local shops and ATM. No local restaurants.

A magical stay! The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and dining with your feet in the sand was unforgettable. The room was spotless, comfy, and offered a breathtaking view. Easily the best setting I’ve experienced. Highly recommend this boutique gem in Zanzibar — I’d return in a heartbeat!

The hotel was lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff was great. The rooms were big and comfortable and they were cleaned twice a day. The food was delicious and the half board option was definitely worth it. The day trips organised by the hotel were excellent. The beach in front of the hotel was not as good as other beaches we visited on the island. Service at the restaurant can be slow, so it’s worth ordering in advance.

I only have positive words to describe our stay. Great location, with a stunning sea-view. This beautiful, intimate resort is nicely embedded in the landscape. Staff is exceptional and always ready to go the extra mile for you - with a smile. The food is great, both restaurants offer a rich menu with a good value for money. I would definitely reccomend this place expecially if you are looking for a relaxed and intimate environment.

We had the best stay at Mvuvi. Our room was located in the beach lounge part of the resort so we spent most of our trip there. The grounds on the resort are beautiful. The photos on the website don’t do this place justices We instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived - it’s paradise ❤️ Breakfast is fantastic and unlimited, which was a plus to my partner! Most importantly the staff made our visit extra special- they are extremely polite and attentive - but not too attentive.

A wonderful hotel, at a great spot with a lot of options for relaxing, kitesurfing (excellent team and service), snorkeling….Superb staff and management and delicious food. Beautiful rooms, very clean and comfortable. Thank you to the entire staff and Andrej, Carolina, Grace, and Flore for making this an unforgettable trip. Hope to be back again soon.

Choosing Mvuvi Resort for our stay in Zanzibar was the best choice for us, which made our vacation so memorable and comfortable. First of all, Mvuvi is so peaceful and quiet. Secondly, The staff is super helpful, kind, friendly and professional. Special thanks to Rosie who helped us in a lot of ways and was always friendly. Thirdly, the rooms were kept sparkling clean. And the last but not least, the food was scrumptious. We enjoyed both breakfasts and dinners there. n/a

I had a delightful breakfast experience at Mvuvi. The fruit platter was a standout, featuring a refreshing mix of mango, pineapple, and watermelon. We also enjoyed the selection of fresh fruit juices and the variety of teas. Our children were particularly fond of the crepes. Highly recommend for a delicious and invigorating start to your day!" This version adds: While our stay at Mvuvi Boutique Resort was enjoyable, we found that both the lunch and dinner menus became repetitive after a few days. This can be somewhat limiting for guests who prefer variety in their dining options. However, it's worth noting that there are other hotels and restaurants nearby where guests can explore different cuisines.

The staff is incredible, quiet location and loved that you have 2 restaurants and 2 pools to chose from. The restaurants both have wonderful food.

Lovely hotel, large pool and nice beach

I loved our ocean view ground floor room with the outdoor shaded terrace and the staff was outstanding.
