The property is located on a beautiful beach! The rooms were well equipped very authentic and pretty. The restaurant was great and the staff also, very friendly and was willing to help out with everything. The only thing is that The rooms weren’t cleaned our whole stay, but when I wanted something from the staff they immediately helped and gave what I asked for.

Good for low-key travellers (not backpackers as this place is to expensive for them) with no to low travel experience, low expectations and no problems with grumpy or absend staff. Instead of being welcomed at check in, we ( father and son) we were being bullied out of the bleu, by a foreign grumpy fake owner. We stayed as friendly as possible, but when we saw the 2 rooms/huts, we were out in 5 minutes, never to come back ( full of muskietos, aircon broken, lights broken, stinking mells, etc etc. ) Our request for money back was downturned. There are so many nice hotels, resorts etc on the Koh Phangan island, people checking this old huts might better consider checking and going somewhere else on the island. Maybe only the recent Thai government Koh Phangan crackdown team on nominee businesses should pay this place a visit.. ( we might advice them to do so preventing others from being scammed) So people be aware, don't get yourself being scammed and/or fooled.

Poor communication from owners and they were inattentive with guests and were not friendly.

Great beachfront location with big rooms and comfortable porches. The rooms are a bit dated but still okay and we didn't get any daily water included in the rooms.

Less than 30seconds to the beach. Animal friendly, good service Rooms need renovation. A bit of mold accumulated in our room. Mosquito nets would have been great

The mattresses on the beds were very hard. They could use an update.

It doesn’t have to be perfect in order to be great. What’s important here is (i) the abundant shade for the kids to play in all day. (ii) The fact that there are always kids playing here, both passing through as well as the staff’s kids. (iii) our bungalow is right on the beach and has a huge patio. Thank you Paola! A1 will cost you a premium, but if you can swing for it, totally worth it. The other bungalows are surrounded by bushes of pink and white flowers. (iv) The social architecture is incredible with different ways of sitting (tables, platforms, hammocks), for different size groups (or individuals), and many discrete spaces that are together but offer generous personal space. (v) The space is, and feels, open, like an Italian piazza. Its beach face is wide and generous. It doesn’t matter. It’s imperfections that are overshadowed by the benefits and vibe of the place (both specifically Seaboard and more generally Haad Yao).

Very relaxed, a lot of places on / near the beach to sit or lie down. Food was nice No room cleaning during 5 days there.
