KK - Karon Kata Boutique Hotel

This hotel has a GREAT location; it is minutes away from both Karon Beach and Kata Beach (I only went to Karon Beach since most of Kata Beach is taken up by the Club Med). The breakfast was very enjoyable and the staff were helpful.

Perfect location and street access ?

- The staff at the reception were amazing, very friendly and helpful with everything, and genuinely tried their best to assist us – congratulations to the whole team. ​- Great location if you want to visit both Kata and Karon Beach, as it is conveniently situated between the two areas First time I have given such a low rating to a hotel. For this price, you simply do not get what you are paying for, especially in terms of cleanliness and noise insulation. ​- One of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in; there was some covered mold on the walls, the room smelled musty and closed, there was visible dust, and the floor was not properly cleaned. The staff brought a fruit platter to our room, but it had clearly been left there since the morning, and by the time we arrived at night it was already smelly. - The air purifier in the toilet was very noisy and very distracting, as if there was something wrong with it. ​- We also noticed the exact same type of fruit platter left outside other rooms, and it stayed there for more than 24 hours without anyone coming to remove it. ​- Very noisy location; there is loud noise from outside until late at night, and you can hear almost everything from the street, although it became a bit better later on. ​- Very expensive for Thailand standards; about 2–2.5 times the price of better hotels we stayed at in other areas, although Phuket in general is more expensive.

The manager and the staff were absolutely amazing! Very kind and efficient! Very helpful and professional! Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location was great. There was some construction work during the day which wasn’t terrible and we were compensated nicely and to our satisfaction. Due to construction the rooftop pool and seating area was only open from 5-8 pm. I could have used a bit more surface area in the room for my belongings.

The room was nice -- clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the arrangement of the taxi ride to the airport. The breakfast each morning was good. A pretty good location, overall. There was noisy construction going on at the hotel which was a bit disruptive. The limited hours to use the rooftop pool. The lighting in the rooftop pool area is very poor and potentially hazardous during the evening hours when it is dark.

The hotel was centrally located yet not in a very busy area, you could walk to both Karon and Kata Beach, 5 minutes from the Kata Walking Street. You get transport - buses and taxis right in front of the hotel. There is a Airport Bus Stop within 100 meters. You could take that bus to come here. They serve you a great breakfast with both continental and local options. The coffee was awesome!! We did not need lunch most days. They give you separate towels to take to the beach, which I thought was really helpful. The pool and the rooftop bar was great, you could see the sea and watch a sunset with a cocktail!

We accidentally left my daughter’s backpack at the hotel and thought it was gone forever, until Mr. Somporn reached out and arranged to send it back to us in Dubaiwith all her toys and belongings still inside! Hugeeee thanks to Mr. Somporn and the amazing team Toto, Elzy, Dao, Lili, Naan, Ya, Ann, Ae, Jom Dat, Pree, and Benz. You didn’t just return a lost bag, you made our little girl so happy! This kind of care and hospitality is rare! Safe to say, KK Karon will always be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Phuket again!

Loved our stay here! The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from Kata Beach and Karon beach. Above all, the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back here again. If you want to spend a relaxing time with your family, KK hotel is the best place to book! Nothing

Location is excellent. 3 mins walk to karon beach and 5 mins walk to kata beach (I personally preferred karon).

Beds were comfortable. Shower leaked onto the floor everytime it was used. Staff stated they had one iron and ironing board for the entire facility, waited a day to receive it after 3 requests. They hang up on you while talking and show up at your room when they have difficulty with your request. Breakfast was minimal and not many options.

Lovely hotel and beach within 5 min walking. Special call out to the staff who helped us recovering some missing items. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed staying here. Rooms are very spacious, clean. The view is amazing from the rooftop with pool. Staffs are very hospitable, friendly. Room service was really fast, also food is delicious. There is no parking area, except that everything was great.

Everything. The location is perfect. The two beaches, Karon and Kata, are within walking distance from the hotel. They also know the customers so well for providing beach towels and slippers to facilitate our needs. And the truly hidden gem is the rooftop overlooking hills and beaches. Worth every penny. It was very cozy even at noon and was best in the evening. At night, there is this awesome and very talented singer from Philippines singing romantic songs per our request. The ambience was unbeatable. We surely had one of our best moments there. The swimming pool is rather small. But hey, who needs a pool when you have two beaches within 5 mins walk? The rooms I've booked were without breakfast. But there are plenty options around the venue.

The staff is quite helpful and friendly, the facilities are always clean and it is very well located. I would have liked to stay longer.
