Hotel was quiet and private. Nice little pool and helpful staff Location was a bit far from any shops or restaurants. Definitely need a taxi or rental to get to the main area of town

Hidden gem! What a great spot! Tropical paradise, beautiful pool, quiet and secluded, well maintained, clean, very nice staff - really loved it here! Definitely won’t be back. Parking for cars is a little tight but doable

Staying at Jade Cottages was like staying in paradise. The property is beautiful with the trees and pool. Everything was perfect but the walk to Fisherman’s Village was a bit of a challenge- walking along a narrow road with no room for walkers.

The room was comfortable and we liked that the toilet was separated from the sink/shower area. The layout of the garden area was quite peaceful. The location was very difficult to access on an extremely narrow street and there was only one parking spot for a car so luckily it was open for us. Although they advertise that you can check in between 3 and 9 pm I had initially said we would check in after 4 but due to the extremely bad traffic it took over an hour to get there from the ferry. They called us at 4:30 and asked where we were as the staff wanted to leave. We arrived close to 5pm and there was one staff waiting. He checked us in and then was gone. There was no staff anywhere after that so although it appeared they have a bar there was no one there. Also it appeared that they had a nicely decorated and maintained restaurant it was only available for breakfast and even that had to be ordered the night before. We did not partake of the breakfast so I can’t comment. In the room the air con fan seemed to only operate at high setting. There was a nice big ceiling fan over the bed but I could not turn it on. I found what I thought was the switch inside the cupboard where the electric box is but it didn’t do anything. The room safe did not work. We only stayed 2 nights out of the 3 I booked, not specifically because of the room but because it being in an out of the way location we had to drive out to eat, etc. after 2 days in Koh Samui and fighting traffic I couldn’t wait to get off that island. There are so many better places in Thailand, I don’t know why anyone would subject themselves to that overcrowded overpriced place.

The surrounding, feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. The breakfast was really really good, fresh fruit and baked bread. The mosquito’s.

Great location, very gracious host who was very helpful in organizing taxis, moped rental and breakfast. The villa was very clean and made up every day. The breakfast was exceptional and good value. Very comfortable bed!

Love the privacy and beauty of the property Some things out of our control. No wifi working on the last day, water wasn’t working either for a bit.

Breakfast was great with impeccable service from the staff. Food from the cafe (for dinner) was equally good. It really was the perfect stay to rest and rejuvenate.

The Jade Cottages are in a quiet neighborhood of Bophut/Fisherman’s Village, very accessible to everything you need but away enough from the crowds/noises and provides a peaceful oasis of green and calmness. The owners are wonderful people who make you feel right at home. Everything was fantastic

The breakfast was also nice! You definitely need a motorbike to get around, because the location is a little bit to far to walk to the nearest Hotspot.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The aesthetic is stunning with cozy boho bungalows surrounded by a homegrown jungle. It was the perfect blend of nature and comfort, creating a serene atmosphere. The food was beyond words, every meal hand crafted and plated to perfection. Eating here was one of the main highlights of our trip! And of course, the owners are delightful. They were so kind and attentive, and made each of us feel right at home. Everything is clean and well taken care of, it is obvious that they love Jade Cottages just as much as we did! If you want to make your stay in Koh Samui truly magical, this is the place to stay.
