Cinnamon Beach Villas

The view was lovely and the staff were super sweet It was a far from everything. There was some challenges with cleanliness in the rooms, with lots of bugs and dirty bedsheets

The beachfront villa is amazing.

The view from the room was amazing! Once we were given the room we booked it was a great room. Clean pool. Many friendly staff and they were always talking great care to the hotel. Being told we had received an upgraded room, only to be given a much older and worse room because of a tub. Then when wanted the room I booked given a little bit of attitude from the check in lady. The place was empty and they could have given us a much better room if they were going to upgrade us. They told us they were fully booked, but they were empty. The towels need to be replaced. We heard this has happened to many other guests. Not sure why? The beach is not good for swimming.

Room is very spacious and outdoor area was very nice and spacious as well. Indoor and outdoor shower and bathtub, no view from the outdoor shower to be noted but that was fine, still some nice plants around the base. All in all great thanks!

The staff at Cinnamon are excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful with all of my requests/questions. The location is far enough away from Lamai so it's very quiet, but only a 30 minute walk on the beach to get to Lamai and their restaurants and shops. Cinnamon has a really good kitchen and chef and staff with great and varied menu of western and classic Thai dishes. The pool is beautiful as was my room, a suite on the top level with phenomenal views and very quiet and private. I liked everything, no complaints at all.

The steps to the beach and location to an shops was either taxi at a very very very long walk

Lovely staff, clean, great pool area and nice breakfast. Quiet - away from noisy tourist stretch It was fine for me but some people might want to know that you need to get a taxi or scooter to get anywhere else. Gorgeous view but the water in the sea is very shallow so not great for sea swimming

The view, the beach, the staff Very steep grade and me having issues with back and bad knee. Accessibility should have been mentioned in their ad. Younger crowd seemed yo have no problem with the steep slopes

Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Lunch and dinner meals were very good.

View is good if you have a balcony towards the ocean Location. No beach most of the day due to tides - much worse than most places in Samui. Nothing around. Big internet issues. Very slow restaurant. Untrained staff

Got a matching deal on koh tao trip 1750 per person from 2200 on check out day and luggage was arranged to be taken by trip company Smelly room Bugs in room mosquitos even in common areas Swimming pool small and 2.4 m deep one end and quite steep drop We had to use bolt every day 400 baht each way Breakfast average and restricted to 6 options not fully buffet Un-usable beach Price not too low about 135 per room 4 persons but we are now staying cherweng garden for 45 a night more and is incomparable Noisy beds

The are so many stairs to get to the restaurant. And it gets slippery after the rain. If you have any mobility issues, this is probably not the best place. They do have room service and the food was good. Shower was moldy. The electricity went out almost every night.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, on the beach. Tiny villa bungalow, steep trail to restaurant, mosquitoes. Isolated location. Beach not swimmable at low tide and devoid of fish and marine life. Got charged VAT tax, and service charges for meals and drinks. Additional 3% credit card charge at checkout.

Bad knee and lots of steps was brutal. This beach is not for swimming. Even at high tide 500 meters out, you're only up to your waist, maybe if your short

The service was excellent, the staff is lovely and ready to help at any moment. We booked tours and a ferry through them, everything was organized and on time. On the last day, the staff arranged for us to check out late so we could get everything done. The rooms are spacious and the sea view is lovely. Although there was a thorough cleaning every day, there were ants in the rooms. Some of the beds were comfortable and some were not. You have to take into account that there are a lot of stairs going down to the sea and to breakfast. The location in Lamai is isolated and far from the entertainment centers on the island.

Staff was good To many stairs and no railings .. if your over 55.. I’d stay away

Not close to anything...the restaurant is a downhill walk of about 50 stairs. The pool is extremely deep...not safe for children and non swimmers.

Friendly Staff Lovely view from the tired, dated room Long way out from town and no complimentary shuttle. Transport is expensive. Not suitable for people who are not very mobile as their are no lifts and the pool area and restaurant is down a steep unsteady hill. Getting out of the hotel area also means a climb to the top of a steep hill
