The view was incredible. The room was incredible. The food, the room, everything. The staff wasn’t friendly. Normally Thai staff are amazing. But here, they were arrogant and disrespectful. One staff come in to my room when I was naked without permission. I think she saw my humble male organ. Unbelievable!

It was clear from the beginning of our stay that the staff at the Silavadee take great care to ensure your happiness and comfort during your stay. The resort is beautiful, our villa and private pool idyllic, and the small details they added to make our stay special were very thoughtful. Our only complaint, which the Silavadee had warned us about a few times in advance, was the construction happening during our stay on a restaurant adjacent to our villa on the property. The warnings we'd received hadn't been quite clear about the construction noises happening til 8-9pm, but the rest of our stay was excellent.

It was our second stay at this beautiful hotel- after our first stay we went to another resort and didn’t like it and returned immediately to Silavadee… the villa was so luxurious, so many details taken in mind, perfect saltwater pool, very good value for money, the infinity pool at the sun restaurant is breathtaking (and also saltwater!!). We really liked the happy hour with snacks and drinks:) service is amazing and everything very clean. Everyone is so nice. Amazing breakfast. It’s a bit secluded from everything if you want to grab something from the outside. The private beach is absolutely beautiful but a little rocky (like many beaches in the area).

It’s not worth it at all. It’s like a 3 star hotel at best. The entrance to the hotel itself is very poor. The rooms had lot of ants and very run down in general.

Terrible rocky beach, they are doing CONSTRUCTION RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH, so you can't even hear yourself think. They are doing NEW CONTRUCTION on the property. If you are looking for a nice beach this side of the Island is NOT IT. It will probably be another 6 months to 1 year until all construction is completed.

Amazing staff, very clean, most comfortable bed and very big, perfect infinity pool, wonderful breakfast, quiet, not too many mosquitos, everything is so beautiful! I loved everything! Some small stuff to note: was lacking a large hair-towel in the bathroom, there was a bit of an ant situation in our room but it’s understandable in this area.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The villa offered a breathtaking sunrise view that was the perfect way to start each morning. Everything was more than perfect. Nothing but the ongoing renovations significantly impacted the spa experience.

Our villa was great. Food and service at Star was great, as well as breakfast at Moon. Hills plus location a little far out. Height and main pool under renovation, so slight deduction for that.

We stayed at two places on Koh Samui and this was the standout, such a unique & stunning boutique luxury property with different room types. Staff made it feel like a second home and we will definitely come stay again! Also the best hotel breakfast we had in Thailand!

Our stay at this resort in Koh Samui was absolutely amazing. The resort is extremely beautiful, and the staff were outstanding — very helpful, respectful, and genuinely kind from the moment we arrived until our departure. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink made of lemon and honey, which was a lovely touch. We were then taken to our villas by golf cart. Inside the villa, we found complimentary snacks and fresh fruits prepared for us. We were traveling with a 6-year-old child, and the resort made her feel very special by providing a dedicated welcome set, including personal care items and a bathrobe for swimming. This level of attention to detail truly stood out. Our main stay was in an oceanfront villa with a direct sea view, featuring a private pool and a large bathtub — a luxurious and relaxing experience. We also stayed in another villa that had two floors, which was beautiful as well. Additionally, we used the Tropical Villa for swimming for one hour, and it was absolutely stunning. The restaurant at the resort is exceptional, offering fantastic food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach is very clean and well maintained, and the resort provides complimentary snorkeling equipment, kayaks, and children’s play activities. Overall, this was a truly luxurious and memorable experience. I highly recommend this resort, especially for families and anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and attention to detail. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Some parts of the hotel felt a little old or outdated. Place was under renovation so some services were not available, and temporary gym was outside and not that comfortable.
