Marina Villa

We stayed 2 weeks. Very affordable clean well maintained family friendly accommodation Very helpful courteous staff. You can arrange car, taxi or scooter hire at reception. Older style accommodation is set back from the street so lovely and quiet nestled amongst the well.maintained gardens and trees. Watch the squirrels amongst the trees and rooftops Easy walk to buzzing street cafes and shops. Taxis and Songtheaws are easily available along the main streets. Breathtaking views. Right beside the gorgeous seaside, clean.great beach. The lovely gardens and 2 pools are well maintained by the gardeners and pool attendance. Pool side cafe opens 8am-3pm. Verandah needs upgrading but still a great place to just sit, rest relax, sip drinks, eat food or just stare out into the ocean. Enjoyed a spectacular view and watch the water sports of jet skis and banana boats. A well established villa. Very comfortable firm beds. Air conditioning rooms. Great house keeping offered daily but we preferred some privacy every few days to sleep in and chill.out. Offers fresh clean bath and pool towels provided Very affordable. Yes some sunbeds by the pool and on the beach are worn but enough for villa residents. The Marina Villa beach side massage therapists are highly recommended as VERY skilled mature ladies. Something magical about hearing the sound of the waves and natural breeze rather than the cool air condition plus tooting noise from traffic. The Marina Villa have back up powered generator and purchase water to ensure customers are never without. If wanting luxury, book alternative accommodation. Our 1st family trip to Koh Samui.and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Marina Villa.

A beachfront property, calm and quiet, peaceful. Good coffee and fresh coconut at the hotel restaurant/bar. Great value for money. Would come again. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, offered me an airport transfer within 2 minutes for little money.

Location and grounds. Dirty pool area and filthy sun loungers, dark bedrooms.

Excellent location in Lamai. Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and right on the beach front. The room was cleaned very well everyday and ALL of the staff were very helpful , always smiling and very playful. One little thing is the bed was ok , but maybe abit more softer would be nice.

Great location, within a minute the beach one way and town the other although quiet and peaceful. The patio doors had a small gap so didn’t close completely although they locked so you could hear others around you in the mornings, we had some loud neighbours for part of our stay !

Location was great for beach and town but was also quiet. It was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. It was a bit tired in places.

Superb

Lovely property and lovely staff. Location is superb as well! It also has two pools Not much ~ the shower instantly broke when we went but the matter was mixed in minutes. Go for it!

Fantastic location, daily housekeeping was prompt with their cleaning. We had mice in our room, with droppings everywhere . They said they didn't have mouse traps. Our final 3 days we had a mouse trapped in our bathroom so that it wouldn't have access to the entire room. We had to deal with the mice every time we used the washrom and shower . They did do more floor cleaning with insect spray. However It was very disappointing that it was not a concern for them, as it could be serious health issues from the rodent exposure.
