Beautiful grounds. Excellent location. Great breakfast. Attentive staff. The beach in front of hotel is very shallow

Massive rooms, beautiful gardens and incredible friendly and supportive staff The only downside were the mosquitos, but the hotel provided spray and creams anytime and everywhere

Perfect huge and comfy room, excellent service - really nice wellcoming and helpful staff. Food in the restaurant (breakfast and a la cart) is really good. Location is great - you have anything within a walking distance, while not located in the middle of the hustle and noise. Also, great beach - again with anything accedlsiable, from the high quality hotel restaurant food to the local small food and juice stands on the beach, beachfront massage, and local cloths and other traders who come by, but are not aggressive at all. Only thing that was a disappointment was the beachfront BBQ evening, i would skip that next time. Food wasn't hot nor tasty. all BBQ items were way over-done. Sitting right on the water is really nice and so was the fire performance. Maybe i would do that only with some fruits and a bottle of beer :) Btw, when i shared my feedback with the hotel, they were really appreciative and responsive.

Towel policy around the beach and pool most guests place towels and belongings on the sun lounges early and you don't see anyone using them for long periods of time

Great, no issues

The location was wonderful and the entire staff hospitality was amazing. The services in room were great too. The only thing missing were the options for vegetarian food in breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is important to have a variety of vegetarian / vegan options as many people from India adopt a vegetarian only lifestyle.

The location of the hotel was the highlight of our stay, we didn’t need taxis at all, it is located right in the heart of Chaweng, next to all the bars, parties, grocery shopping and shopping in general. All of that is just a walking distance from the hotel, and yet, once you’re in the hotel, it’s quiet - which we appreciated. The hotel itself has a great pool, lots of sun-beds on the beach, and the beach there is pretty nice. The hotel needs some renovation in the rooms. It just feels outdated. I also don’t understand why they still don’t have a smart TV, I mean it’s 2025. Most of the other hotels I’ve stayed at in Thailand have smart TVs - not a major issue of course, but it would’ve been nice to watch some Netflix. And finally the pillows, oh the pillows.. my neck still hurts from these awful pillows, I still can’t move it properly. Not just me, my wife as well. They really need to change their pillows.

The room was ok. Our stay at Muang Samui Spa Resort in Koh Samui was a major disappointment, mainly due to the unfriendly and even hostile attitude of the staff. My husband badly injured his leg after tripping over an unmarked step near our room. When he informed the staff, their first response was, “What do you want me to do about it?” The second was, “You’re responsible for yourself,” — both delivered without a shred of empathy. he wasn’t even trying to complain or ask for compensation — he simply wanted to alert them to the safety hazard so others wouldn’t get hurt. But their reaction was dismissive and cold. Another example: while walking around the resort, we passed a staff member who was sweeping the floor. Instead of pausing or stepping aside, he continued sweeping — pushing the dirt directly toward us. It was shocking and disrespectful. The pool and beach area were also in poor condition. The area was filthy, there were very few seating options, and many of the mattresses were stained — an unpleasant and sad sight for a supposed 5 star resort. Although we had booked four nights, we decided to leave after just one. When the staff saw we were checking out early, the first thing they did was inspect the room to make sure we hadn’t stolen anything. Then they handed us a form and demanded we explain our reason for leaving. When I asked to speak with the manager to share our concerns in person, she refused to listen and told me to “just fill out the form.” The most disappointing part of our experience at Muang Resort was the complete lack of hospitality. The staff showed no patience, warmth, or care for their guests. It’s truly a shame, as we were looking forward to a relaxing stay and instead left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

Central location in Chaweng beach, nice breakfast Rude staff, dirty pool, food leftovers not cleaned (to the point of spoting a MOUSE! In the pool sitting area), no towels left at the pool at only 5pm. Really not what you expect when paying so much...?

Room was beautiful and had great amenities The property was nicely maintained The staff were hands down the best part. They really went over and above to make our stay great. Great location. Just up the road from where all the action is but quiet and close to scooter rentals, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Quiet guests and no kids Note: not a con for me but, the beach is super shallow and calm. If you enjoy swimming in the ocean or watersports, you’d be disappointed. It would have been nice to have staff monitor the beach and pool area. I would have definitely ordered more food and drinks if I didn’t have to go looking for staff every time. Mosquitos are a big hassle but can’t really be helped…Samui is mosquito capital. Perhaps having bug zappers and treating the grounds with pesticides would help? I hated go to breakfast and coming back either covered in bites or sticky with mosquitos repellent. Rooms were very clean but could due with a renovation. Dirty curtains and towels. The basement under the lobby also needs to be completed redone. It ruined my first impression but thankfully the rest of the resort is beautiful and properly maintained. The spa STILL was not finished. I confirmed before booking that the spa would be ready by our dates but we were not informed until the day of our check-in. This should be on their website. It’s would have been nice to have more English speaking channels on the tv (or a smart tv) when the rain squalls keep you inside A master switch would have been nice in the room for the lights
