Silver Beach Resort

Very nice place. Beautiful beach!!!! We had everything we needed right there: comfy room, amazing pool, beautiful beach and super delicious restaurant! Also, massages right on the beach, next to the pool. It was our paradise island vacation!!!

The beach is beautiful. It does get really busy during thw afternoon so morning is best. The hotel is clean and the staff is nice. The pool opens at 8:00 but people put their towels down at 7:00 and there are only 6 chairs so they are taken all day. There should be a time limit or more chairs. For the price of the hotel I think it should be a bit better.

It is really not well maintained.

nothing The lady owner of the hotel was rude. Once night when lights were off in the lobby there were doors slamming from the wind storm all night that kept slamming all night. I went downstairs with a flashlight (because it was dark) to call the staff and the lady owner came out and cussed me out. I told her the doors were slamming all night due to the wind in the many empty rooms which have open shower vents and nobody staying in them. The hotel was completely empty and she would not give a refund for the next 4 nights we had booked even though everyone else left due to the storm.

Only the pool and the restaurant area look great, friendly staff and a great location (Silver Beach) Rooms are not at the standard of the other areas, the bathroom was a disappointment (shower not separated from toilet so it was always splashing on the bin inconveniently). Also, the room smelled like stagnant water. Since this is one of the nice beaches in the area, it had a lot of outsiders as well, not so enjoyable in the end.

The beach, the piña colada’s and the massage therapist! I had no privacy with my hotel room. The Wi-Fi was horrible and I had no signal for my regular cell phone service.

Road noise and a bit dated but good hotel .

Workers in the resort weren't so friendly, had a bad smell in the room area but they didn't suggest anything, the guy from reception simply said he didn't smell it.. we asked for extra pillows (they only put one on our king bed which was weird, and had to ask twice because first time we asked nothing happened.. Another thing is they have sunbeds and umbrellas, but they costs 500thb extra- and not including for hotel guest, only in the pool they have like 6 sunbeds, which clearly isn't enough in high season.. Those are the little things that make you either fill welcome or not.. we stayed in 3 other resorts in crystal bay and unfortunately this one missed it a bit..

Great location, awesome restaurant, amazing staff!

Location and being able to sit on our balcony and see/hear the ocean. Breakfast included was really nice. The communication at the resort is very much lacking. I reached out 2 times prior to our reservation, about ferry pickup, and was never answered. We were then told at checkin that we would move rooms halfway through our 5 day stay, which was incredibly inconvenient especially since we had a boat trip planned for the day of room transfer. We had to repack all of our belongings, then when we returned the woman seems to own or manage the hotel was incredibly rude as if it were an inconvenience to her having to move our things. The room we moved into did not have working hot shower, WiFi was extremely spotty and the power went out numerous times, even when there was no bad weather. Restaurant closes at 7pm which was a strange time.

People smoking weed in swimming pool, all you can smell is weed. Too busy as most of the people on the beach are not from the hotel

It was on the beach and walkable to the yoga training I was doing. Rooms were basic and very close to the road. Damp, musty smell on the property, not super pleasant to "come home to."

Location Many day trippers come to this small beach. They enter at the resort and it gets very crowded.

Proximity to beautiful beach. Quiet. Several beachfront eateries/ cafes, motorbike hire, close (3km’s) to Lamai. The bed was quite firm ( not great) so took a few nights before I could sleep on it. The room price is high compared to similar properties in Lamai area however being beachfront makes it worth it.

Location adjacent beautiful beach. Staff excellent service and friendly. Bed a little firm / not comfortable. Even though we were upgraded the rooms are not flash, but functional.

We stayed in a room with the ocean view. Beautiful beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean, and the staff were happy to help with any issues. The pool was gorgeous, overlooking the beach and ocean. Lots of lounge areas, massage, bar, and restaurant on the premises. The weather was bad- heavy rain and thunderstorms. That's not the resorts fault and they did their best to keep guests comfortable despite the weather.

Bungalows could use a fix up,, mattress has seen too many bodies

Nice pool with a beach view. Friendly staff and full-service bar and restaurant. We had free breakfast included and they accommodated our dietary restriction. The beach was right by our room. Super clean white sand beach. Not too crowded. Calm waters are great for spending the whole day by the beach. The bed was not that comfortable including the pillows. Very basic room and the bathroom facilities were not the best. But not too bad for the price.

The location is convenient, it's near the main road. And I like that they have a pool. No shower curtain.

Well being right on the beach was amazing. With just a awesome view and a great bar on the beach. A great location to relax on a beautiful beach. The staff was a little slow with getting drinks and paying attention to empty drinks. But this is the Thailand way you have to tell them every time your ready for another one.
