Secret Garden Beach Resort was perfect for our family of four with teens. We rented two bungalows and everyone had plenty of space. The bar and restaurant were wonderful, the beach was beautiful, it was walkable to the temples, easy to find grabs for transport, our boat tour collected us easily from here, the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was as expected or exceeded expectations.

Everything It was fantastic

This was for me a very interesting stay. We spent only one night on Koh Samui after having traveled from Koh Tao to catch a plane to Chiang Mai, and so had selected a hotel relatively near the airport. It also happened to be on the beach. The construction was almost entirely concrete. The walls are concrete with electrical outlets inlaid. The desk and bedframe are concrete. The closets are concrete with doors affixed. The floors, including the bathroom, are concrete. Oddly, this actually works. The room and bed were comfortable. The concrete seems to help keep the heat out and the A/C worked well. The safe held an iPad, but not a 13" laptop. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant located on site was good, not exceptional. Service was pleasant but not always timely as the staff became quite busy as the evening wore on. I found it expensive compared to other restaurants we'd visited in Thailand. We had live entertainment that (Sunday) evening which was quite entertaining if not exceptional. The noise was moderate and did not disturb us when we went early to bed. The hotel is well located on a main street. We walked up a short distance and spoiled ourselves with lovely massages at Ning 's massage across the road. I used the beach in an effort to relax and cool down. Oddly the beaches in Thailand were not refreshing. The water was too warm, and the beach extends very far from shore. Fifty feet out I was in maybe 5' of water. Great for kids I suppose, although this beach and those adjacent had almost no visitors. The hotel did have a pool and, importantly, a fresh water shower to remove the ocean salt.

Very clean and modern Nothing

Staff at resaurant was awesome. Staff at office was terrible Asked for help with bags leaving and they didnt help me. Guy at desk sent the girl and she never showed to help. Figured the guy would do luggage not the girl. They also wouldnt give me a towel to dry off sweat after carring all 3 baga because my stay was expiring in only 5 minutes. was not happy

Terrible experience, the next door guest was cursing at me in the middle of the night while knocking brutally on the connecting doors and then somehow was able to open it, while my and my fiance were naked in the room! Very traumatic

Resort next to it played loud music very late one every but that's no fault of secret garden. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean property in good location to ferry, beachfront property near to pier, water is calm. Walking distance to wider beachfront. Good restaurant with live music three times a week. Some good restaurants within walking Constance as well as a Mini Mart. Second time I stayed here, would come back. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds were comfy, pillows, not so.

Was nothing I didn't like

The room was large and spacious with a very comfortable bed and great amenities. I enjoyed everything! Great coffee and right on a beautiful beach.

Excellent beachfront location! The proximity to the pier and an array of restaurants and bars couldn't have been more convenient. The staff were fantastic, providing very helpful service and handling our late check-in smoothly. Our room was clean and spacious, and the resort grounds, especially the pool and the beach right out front, were beautiful. Highly recommend this spot for a perfect blend of convenience and relaxation. The only drawbacks were the firmness of the mattress and the bathroom, where the fixtures felt tired (especially the shower). Aside from those minor points, we loved our time here!

The place was very nice, beautifully decorated and quiet and peaceful on the beachfront. Also 2 minute walk from the ferry to other islands. The water in the shower wasnt hot enough

I stayed two nights in Secret Garden Beach Resort. The first was on September 4, 2025 and the second on September 17, 2025. In different rooms types. Though the 1st room was clean, equipped also with microwave, and relatively specious, it was less 'welcoming' - need to be careful because of two levels inside the room. On the other hand, I love very much the 2nd room (bungalow) - I love its style, the wide window, etc. (adding microwave to the amenities and it would be perfect). It took time to get used to the pillows. The busy noisy street invades to the rooms, however, I fall in sleep quite easily.

Clean and spacious room, friendly staff. Had bananas waiting for me in the room, which was a nice touch.

The water were not so warm but besides that it was great!
