Room was great and very comfortable. It looked newly remodeled. The view of the trees was beautiful. The included breakfast was very good. We still enjoyed it thoroughly. The large onsen was amazing with lots of baths and sauna options. The dry sauna was fantastic. The steam sauna was great albeit a little small. Bringing our own towels to the onsen was a little troublesome. Wish there were towels available in the locker room. The large onsen was fantastic, but the small onsen was a bit disappointing since there were just two baths available.

For a 4 star facility; the room we were at was quite dirty and dusty.

The traditional tatami room had an amazing view, was so spacious, and the futons were comfortable to sleep on. The open air hot springs and the kaiseki meal was the highlight of our stay! Absolutely delicious food and excellent Onsen experience. Staff was very helpful and provided shuttle service to the Ropeway.

Hot spring and food were so nice.

I hate this property very much do not recommend anyone staying there Nothing because the room was small and not really clean also the dinner was very bad test not worth with this very high price they charged at all ????

The hotel is old but very well maintained. The staff is mostly friendly friendly and helpful. I have not so pleasant check-in with one of the male staff but the rest are so nice. They have a public spa Taikonoyu that hotel guest can access for free which is really great (on top of smaller hotel ones in the basement) Getting there : If you travel by a train, there's a shuttle bus service with a time table signage in front of the station. If you travel by a bus, you can shortly walk to tourist information center and ask them to call the hotel. They will send a van to pick you up there. Very convenient. You have to book breakfast and dinner time during the check in and they're not flexible about it. You can't just go early if you're done with your day.

The Onsen facilities are amazing and as well the restaurants and food are delicious . Staff were very service oriented and very nice through all the stay . How to get there from public transportation is a little bit challenging ( Sin Kobe Station ), plus if you have luggage , is complicated to get there since it is on a hill . We got to know there was a shuttle bus until we checked in , otherwise would be easier to reach the hotel .

Facilities are comprehensive. Onsens are big! Allocated the old wing - clean but furnishings were worn. Tad expensive but I guess that is the general pricing of the Arima region.
-
Big and varieties onsen bath room. Great dinner and breakfast. Have a parking lot on space. Have a little old smell in the room. Futon bed is not quite enough clean.
-
It's, without doubt, one of the best onsens I have visited in my ENTIRE LIFE! It's, in fact, one life adventure. The staff don't speak English very well, which can be challenging for dinner.

I can recommend this ryokan: not far the village - you can go there by foot. Also the place has Nice mixture of old and new, and à Nice friendly atmosphere. Dining hall is nicely decorated and the dinner was excellent. The advatage of this ryokan is the adjacent public onsen : you can use their diverse baths and enjoy a Lovely atmosphere.

The entire hotel felt dated, like nothing had been updated since the 80s.

Love the breakfast variety. Love the onsen experience. Hotel was on top a steep hill, took a lot of muscle and stamina to push our luggage up.
