We had overlooked that bathroom was shared, which we didn't anticipate could be the case. Noise in corridor is heard in rooms (door locks and people walking)

The room was clean. The son of the hotel owner was very helpful and nice to deal with, more than willing to assist us with internet issues. Thanks to Youri. The owner of the villa, Ms Monique, was really rude, strict and not nice to deal with, at all. She was not willing to help us not even with the room internet that was not working properly. She dealt us in certain rude manner as we don't speak Dutch. The pictures of the place are far from reality. The beach photos are completely fake in my opinion, as none of that landscape are part of the villa, not even close to it. The garden area is enclosed only for the breakfast time. We weren't aware the room had no toilet inside, only a sink to wash your face. That was really uncomfortable. The stay in Villa Monique is not worth the price.

Lovely, welcoming staff, clean home and very nicely decorated, mazing location. Only thing,, the pillows where uncomfortable, but still an amazing place and amazing people.

This was on the top three guest house I stayed in in over five years of living in Europe. The host was extremely accommodating, the property is gorgeous, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The host even prepared breakfast an hour and a half early for me because I had an event that I had to be at each morning before her scheduled breakfast time. The breakfast room and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing between trips to the beach. It is a very short walk to the shopping and restaurant area which is adjacent to the beach. nothing
