Marie Hotel

Friendly hotel, Turkish speaking owners and they are all great. I immediately felt like I am one of their friends. Perfect for solo traveler. Gülşen abla is amazing and her cooking is delicious. Location is great too. Next to a beautiful church and just steps away from the seaside. Markets and restaurants are all around. Nothing!!

Hotel is very clean, location is so nice. Restaurants and beach very close, we walked just 4-5 minutes for beach and restaurants. So it is close to old town and safe area.

Nothing… irrevent owner… irrevent owner… I booked 2 seperated room. He gave us hotel’s employees accomodation a room that shared bathrrom, out of hotel building near hotels kitchen. Awful

Sweet family place, recommend to everyone who is looking for fine stay. The hotel is very close to harbour and city center. I agree with all good comments. We checked in very quickly with my daughter which is very important if you have small kids. No noise and no dirt, great value for stay.

Walking distance to the beach, eateries, atms & shops & also the main town area.the 10€ breakfast was so yummy! Airport transfers can also be arranged.

the location there was a construction and no body told us. we could have a different room at least. It was right outer edge of the next room and they started carrying metals around 9 am which was totally not okay.

Location was great, staff very helpful including baggage storage and lift to bus station on the day we left. I thought the bed was too hard but that's a personal preference.

The location is excellent near to restaurants, the beach. Everything is on your doorstep

Location perfect for beach and town. Room bright and large. Aircon no problem. Small balcony an advantage. Towels changed every day. Man at reception friendly and willing to help when I managed to happen on him. Perfect for a base, slept well. If the proprietors could make a few small, not expensive changes it would make a huge difference. However I did feel safe there at all times. Family run hotel which in itself is not a problem but... no info. in rooms re. 1)wifi code (this is displayed in the corridor - why not in room ?) 2)Breakfast - times and what is available 3)Sightseeing/tours etc. No electric kettle or coffee maker as advertised unless they mean in the dining area but not in the room. I asked for one and did get one but it wouldnt boil ... I didnt bother returning it or complaining. Mostly no one in reception - very trusting owners but 1) keys of other rooms on display and open to everyone and anyone that night stroll in the door. 2) no one to provide information - I couldnt tell if someone worked there or were on holidays. Breakfast ... I decided to have breakfast one day, must have been late as I could hear someone in kitchen, knocked on door and asked if breakfast was still available..yes yes... came out with me, tossed something edible around a grill or plate or something and that was it. I sat at a table that had previously been used, no one appeared. I had some tea that another person showed me where to find and that was it. Needless to say I got breakfast elsewhere. No questions asked as to what room I was in etc etc. Rooms are not soundproofed - next doors snoring sounded as if he/she was in the same bed as me. Bathroom need updating and was tiny but could shower etc etc There was a commode or similiar down a corridor just off reception - Why !! Suggest.... Details in the rooms re. breakfast times, wifi code, is there a bar, who to contact if no one on reception. Reception - Move the commode. Brochures re. tours and what Kos has to offer etc. Have someone behind reception desk at least during day time
