Phaethon Hotel

The breakfast was good and included a nice variety of fruits, cheeses, fresh bread, and tea bags. My favorite was the yogurt topped with honey and walnuts. The room and bathroom were both quite small. The bathroom, in particular, was cramped and difficult to use comfortably.

Relatively close to the port

great little retro room which has everything including a balcony. the breakfast was delicious. great performance/price the walls might have been made of paper as everything was audible. I saw this in the reviews but did not care much and knowing this might be an issue for some, I would be happy to return.

The staff was super nice, they were extremely accommodating, we ended up being upgraded to a small studio, great price and location It's an older building, but still comfortable. Every time you left, the ac turned off because you had the key, which means it took a while to cool down. The kitchen didn't cool at all, nonetheless, for the price it can't be beat, shower head was intense and there was nothing but one of those plastic shower curtains. It was clearly not enough and water was everywhere.

It was a good location, close to the old city and the water front. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was okay for one night but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. You could hear everything in the halls and the cleaners working on the floor above. The shower was very tiny. More pillows were needed. You can’t go out on the balcony without turning off the AC. The water to the toilet was turned off.

A good value accommodation near the old town. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Clean and tidy. Nothing negative except the shower knob which has to be fixed ?

I can't say it was a bad hotel, its location was good, it gives you an 80s hotel vibe, it felt nostalgic to us but I don't know if that was their goal?

The staff were really friendly & helpful. We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of our holiday & returned after 12 days, for a further night, as it was in a great location for the port & local bus station. The hotel was great value as it included a really good continental breakfast.

This hotel was a pretty good find! It is situated a short walk from the port and a short walk into the town centre. There are also plenty of small shops to get refreshments and snacks! The room decor was a bit dated but eveyrthing was tidy and clean, the desk is always manned and the staff were very kind plus helpful! decor could be updated and air con could do with an update!

The fact that this is a good old fashion good value honest hotel.. not fancy..if it was.. it'll be a "boutique" hotel at twice the price ?...dated. but retro?... so its modern?..set back a few streets from the hustle/ bustle of the water front..so quiet.. but only a 15/20 minute walk to the ferry point making it a great location..and 5 minutes down to the waterfront restaurants and bars...staff wonderful/ helpful..a little gem Electric went off in the morning..a power cut.. so didn't have any toast for breakfast.. but no body's fault ?... this is Greece

Good location and breakfast, a very clean room for only a night As our room was facing the main street, it was quite noise when openning the windows.

Location was perfect for me. Near old town and friends. It was very clean and comfortable. I definitely would stay there again. The breakfast was a traditional uncooked breakfast but I did think there should have been a greater selection of fruits. The breakfast was 9 euro which I thought was little bit expensive for what was available.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was really good & there was plenty of it. The bathroom was a bit cramped.
