Loy Chalet

Amazing tropical paradise..This place is for those who really want to escape from it all. It is quite serene and totally perfect to allow you to switch off!! If this is what you are after then Loy Chalet is for you. Staff were amazing,good food and good WiFi. For me nothing as it was just what we wanted and needed..Total chill time.

The receptionist was not friendly to me.

Another advantage is that the hotel is set away from the road, so you do not hear traffic noise. However, there is a mosque nearby, so in the morning you will hear prayer clearly. It is also worth noting that the villas are located quite close to each other. Even though there are trees and bushes, privacy is still limited: you can hear your neighbors and see people in the villas opposite, as well as anyone walking past. We were also surprised that there were no sheer curtains in the villa, so you either have to keep the blackout curtains fully closed or stay completely visible from outside. Another small but noticeable issue was the lack of hand towels, including in the kitchen area, even though there is a sink there. One more thing to keep in mind is the bathtub on the balcony. It looks appealing in the photos, but do not get your hopes up too much — there is no hot water in it, so in reality it is not as enjoyable as it sounds. The main downside for us was the air conditioner. It was very noisy and also caused noticeable vibration in the room, which made it uncomfortable to sleep even on the lowest setting. At the same time, leaving the door open at night is not really an option, because there is no insect screen.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Had 2 nights here with my wife.

Repeat stay at this property. Staff, facilities and accomodation always exceed our expectations.

Clean and quiet area. Pool was great! Staff were super friendly. No music around the pool or activities. Property was out of the way from all the entertainment. Far travel to and from places and no way of easy transportation

Very helpful staff and well thought through layout of the different chalets. Nearby beach is nice and quiet The breakfast options were a bit limited and almost exclusively western style.

Clean Our unit was newer and had a full fridge. Pool area was pretty nice Free fresh fruit and juice from powder with breakfast VERY strict with towels Only allowed 1 bath towel/person and 1 pool towel/person. We requested an extra blanket and was told that they usually charge for that - but they didn’t in the end. Cottages are massive but no place to hang anything other than a small closet and there were no luggage racks so suitcases had to go on coffee table or sofa - just inconvenient and with so much space, it would be easy to place some racks They want you to reuse towels but again - little hanging space - just one small rack in bathroom Shower leaked onto bathroom floor which was annoying Had to select your breakfast from a menu (allowed one choice) - all items are complicated Get charged for coffee from machine otherwise you get instant coffee ?

The breakfast staff was nice The kitchen that is part of the "villa" had a bad smell of mold. The handling of our complaint was unprofessional.

Distance to shopping center.

Beautiful accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff. Location was a bit far out for us in some respects as had to taxi everywhere. However, it was also nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. So it depends on what you want.

Everything Nothing

Everything was really good. Staff was very kind and the room we had wonderful. At arrival we thought the location was a bit outside of everything, but when we saw how touristic and busy Ao Nang was and how close we where to the beautiful beach of Klong Muang and some restaurants/supermarkets within walking distance (Ao Nang is also just 15 min by taxi) we realized what a great location it actually was for us.

Overall, a very good stay at a beautiful hotel. Well managers and clean, staff were very friendly. Only issue for us was that the temperature of the shower was either very hot, or cold.
