Caring staff. The rooms - the first had a creaking stair to the bathroom and therefore asked to be changed, got an attic which we had changed; this unfortunately had a creaking door to the bathroom!

It’s very authentic, located at the heart of Krakow. Very friendly and accommodating staff, quality breakfast, nice facilities! No Gym available at property itself

Excellent location close to the main Square, but not so close that you hear the noises all night. loved the underground pool. Great for kids. This is a minor point, but cars cannot pull up in front of the hotel. So if you need to catch an Uber or meet your driver for an excursion, you have to walk out of the hotel and walk maybe half a block.

The room, bed, bedding, facilities and staff were all excellent. The area is so close to the castle, river and within easy walking distance to both the Jewish Quarter and the Main square. Absolutely loved everything about the trip. Thank you. Nothing to do with the hotel, but through booking.com I arranged a taxi to pick us up. It took an hour to get through customs and baggage. The taxi driver waited on us, but then stated the taxi had been cancelled an we should pay him an extra 100 in cash. Do not book a taxi through booking.com as there were lots of taxi's outside around the same price.

Hotel Copernicus is a truly beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Kraków. The location is outstanding, just a short walk from all of the main attractions, yet it still feels peaceful and exclusive. We stayed in one of the large suites, which was spacious, elegant and full of character. The historic building has been beautifully preserved while offering all the comfort you'd expect from a luxury hotel. The food was exceptional. Every meal was of a very high standard, with excellent service to match. The staff were welcoming, professional and made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend Hotel Copernicus to anyone looking for a luxurious and characterful stay in Kraków. The only real disappointment was the bathroom in our suite. While the bedroom itself was stunning, the bathroom felt dated and underwhelming compared to the rest of the accommodation. It lacked the same sense of luxury as the suite and could definitely benefit from a refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The hotel is perfectly located to visit the important sites. Almost all are in a short walking distance It's very close to the Wawel castle, the Peter & Paul cathedral and the main market square. The staff at reception was professional, helpful and competent. Many rooms ( including ours) have no view and only a window facing the inner ( covered) courtyard which serves as a lobby. The room felt pretty dark, difficult to get fresh air. The breakfast was a pain - there is a small buffet , but mostly you have to order a la cart and the kitchen is extremely slow even when there are just few guests for breakfast ( 30 min waiting time for a boiled egg) and they mix up orders.

Even though the facility was beautiful and comfortable the very best part of the place was the superb friendly staff. The location couldn't be beat. Everything was perfect. We didn't want to leave. There really wasn't anything that we didn't like about this wonderful hotel. Some might balk at the price but we certainly got what we paid for and would love to return.
