The ease of in and out of the hotel, good self-parking structure next to it, and fairly easy to visit the Kumamoto castle. The staff gave my friend couple, a IHG member, a super nice suit with breakfast and lounge privileges, but after they got into the suit, the front desk staff rushed up and moved them to a regular room with all upgrades taken away.

A wonderful hotel! Spacious rooms, a beautiful view overlooking the river, and just 2 tram stops from the train station. The staff was great, and we enjoyed our time there very much. My only suggestion would be to offer streaming channels such as Netflix. Nothing wrong with Japanese game shows, mind you, but for foreign guests, some English offerings would be nice.

The tram line right outside of the door was very convenient for getting to many of the sights to see. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The hotel itself was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast selection was amazing, everything you could want. We would stay here again.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a broad range of options. The location was very convenient - a 12 minute walk to the train station and very close to the tram/bus stops.

Location was pretty good. We can walk from Kumamoto station, or from the tram Gionbashi station. Also, the reception desk staff can converse well in english and i find that really helpful. The room is very spacious. Our room was very stuffy.... we had to ask for an additional fan in both rooms. The air conditioner (giving hot air) is centrally controlled hence we could not control the temperature.
