I honestly don’t suggest for the person who doesn’t smoke…. Even if I choice the non smoking room, smells everywhere. Smell was bad.

Cosy atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Location is splendid , a short stroll to bus terminal station, Sakuramachi mall (Cinema, Restaurants , Super market and various shops) and the busy shopping covered street Sunroad Shinshigai (Even more choices for your entertainment, cusine and shopping needs). Rooms are clean and offers a great view of the Shirakawa River. Also the main transport hub Kumamoto station is just a short bus ride or tram ride from the hotel. You can take the superb Shinkansen from Kumamoto Station to Fukuoka! (under an hour journey)

Excellent coffee available in lobby and very helpful staff. Close to attractions, shops, restaurants, etc. Bed is rather hard and pillows are awful.

Location is excellent and bed was comfy. Window in room did not open even a little bit so we could not let some air in. The heating/air conditioning is centrally controlled and as it’s February it was set to heat and made the room stiflingly hot.

the hotel location is good the room temperature was very high. they told me that the air conditioning is centralized and there is no control from each room. since it is winter, they cannot change it. there were no option to open a window. the room temperature got to almost 30 Celsius

The washroom was extremely dirty and the sink and tub doesn't look like it has been cleaned in a while. The water did not drained well while taking a shower. The bed was not comfortable at all and it gave both me and my partner back pain the next morning. We stayed at a different Mystay before and have ways had decent experience, but this location was just below our expectations of what a hotel should be like. I don't think we will ever stay at another Mystay hotel again.

Very close to the ginza and areas to shop. Only about a 10-15min walk to Kumamoto castle. I didn’t realize I booked a smoking room and that’s all that was available. Make sure you verify before booking or else you will be miserable!

Nice location close to tram stop, central shopping street and sakuramachi mall. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk were very nice and even helped me retrieve a lost item.
