Breakfast choices were good. I felt the hotel is trying to compact everything "All in one small place". They couldn't excel better with the overloading. the car park is very far and was not cheap even with a coupon. The room are so small. Hard to even walk in and out.

Location was awesome. The onsen was nice, with indoor and outdoor spaces. Room was efficiently laid out, so even though the space wasn't too big, it was comfortable.

The breakfast options were traditionally Japanese and very tasty but there were elements of a traditional continental breakfast if that's more to your liking. The location was central to most of the tourist attractions and the tram stop which served the main areas of town was just 100 yards from the hotel which made it very easy to get around safely. Parking information could have been more detailed on the website; I was led to believe that there would be parking onsite that I would have to pay for but in fact, I had a choice of two lots with varying pay options that were block away from the hotel which made for a few back and forth trips before all was settled.

The property was perfect for my stay. My wife has been in the hospital for several months and I visit her for a minimum of 2 weeks every month. The location of REF Hotel is a short walk to the hospital and the onsen is a perfect way for me to unwind and stay focused on my health and mental fortitude. The entire staff is so nice and supportive of me and I feel so welcomed. There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.

The modern and clean infrastructure, the onsen, the location and especially the staff. The property is perfect; although some guests are not completely aware of proper Japanese onsen manners.

We love how convenient it was for location that you can just walk down the hotel to get everything you need and transportation was just outside the hotel. The best part is the Aircon system was working even during winter. For people with tattoos I wish they have specific time Like 1-2hrs window for them to use the onset or sauna.
