It was conveniently close to the railway station for my train the next day, staff were fine. It's pretty dated in almost every way at this point, the showers, even the kettle show serious signs of ageing.

my second noght was awful - staff were unfriendly and seemed angry at booking.com… i have sleep apnea and had nightstaff routinely knocking on my door through the noght… i hardly slept… disgraceful and disappointing behaviour (endorsed i believe by the management)… the cleaning staff didnt clean my room - i asked the staff why in the corridor and i was told they had been instructed not to service my room… a horrible experience

Staff were friendly. 60m to a 24hr McDonalds and a 5-10 min walk to the train station. Beds were comfy. Laundry was fast and surprisingly not too expensive. Only 10-15 min Didi away from some good restaurants. It was advertised as non - smoking yet there was a man across the corridor from us who was sat with the door open chain smoking, therefore the whole floor stank. It’s definitely a “business” hotel - and seedy at that. There was a blind on the outside of the bathroom for whoever was in the room to look fully in the shower. There was also a container next to the TV which was fixed to the cabinet, containing condoms and other sex paraphernalia.
