Stay 1 night for Transit back to KUL, very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, really 5 ⭐ Hotel. Near to LRT Station, walking distance. I like all the rooms design and the furniture, 1st class.

This hotel offers high value for money: you get the typical 5-star flair despite the hotel being really affordable. Large and clean room, spectacular breakfast buffet. Everything seemed rather impersonal, as is often the case in that type of hotel. Chunrong street is not the best location, since you still have to take the subway to get to Kunming South train station (it might seem quite near on a map but it's actually a one hour walk).

Spacious Room; Near Kunming south railway station Room is a little dark and gloomy. Can do with brighter lights. Some parts of the carpet has loosen and not attached to the floor.

The location of the hotel is convenient if travelling from Kunming South Station, however not really at walking distance (you will need to take the metro or a taxi if you travel from Kunming South Station early in the morning to Laos for example). WARNING: The indicated location of the hotel on the map on Booking.com is wrong and neither is the hotel 450 meters from Yihe Road Metro Station as mentioned in the description !! As a matter of fact the hotel is only a 100 meters or so from Chunrong Street Metro Station !! To make things worse Google Maps and Maps.me both give two locations for the hotel, the correct one and the wrong one. I got off the Metro at Yihe Road Station and it was a long walk from there with my suitcase before I finally got to the hotel....... When I checked in I was surprised that the staff at the front desk had absolutely 0 command of English and communication was via de translation app on the phone. The same with the staff in the restaurant. When I checked out the next morning one of the ladies at the front desk spoke English well however.

The hotel room was super comfortable, had so many amenities. There was a huge shopping centre just a 5 min walk behind the hotel.

We only stayed one night so didn't get to see/use many of the facilities. The bed was so comfortable and warm. Strong shower and good wifi. A fair way from the city centre however a metro line (Line 1) is nearby. Limited English spoken by staff however they did try their best to respond to questions. The hotel also gave us a free shuttle to Kunming South Railway station, a 15 minute drive.
