The workers are amazing, the social in the hostel is the best I’ve seen, my new favorite place. Stayed here for 5 weeks in total. Love, Ron❤️

The location is good, staff is really friendly The place isn’t as nice as the photos… was kinda dirty and damp, there was blood on the walls… the capsule is also kind of damp/ humid and the ac doesn’t really cycle in so it’s quite warm inside even though there’s ac in the room

Shared dinner Tuesday-Sunday was a great way to meet people. Yoga was super nice and they have a mini gym too. The dorm was surprisingly super quiet for so many people. Shared area outside was good with lots of seats. No filtered drinking water is included, which sucks when you’re trying to reduce single use plastic waste. Usually surfing + yoga = some environmental consciousness or consideration. Theres no way to make oatmeal etc in the morning either.

The location is great, a short walk from the main street of Kuta and with great eateries nearby. The dorm was very spacious, and it's great that the beds have space for a little wardrobe next to them. Lots of shared toilets and showers. There is 24/7 security who sits outside the front gates of the hostel who is always so welcoming, and makes you feel safe when you get back at night. Dinners are included but are very basic, and not enough for everyone. The beds and showers could be a bit cleaner, but were good enough for a short stay.

I had a chance to get to know the owner, Was, quite well after he offered me a marketing position at the hostel and we had a couple of meetings. Later on I received multiple disturbing reports from the staff (now ex-staff) and female guests complaining about inappropriate behavior toward them by him— reports that included screenshots of private messages involving serious and repeated sexual harassment. A while later he tried to scam me about a payment I made with my credit card and when I asked him to provide a bank statement confirming he had not received the payment, he told me to check out. (I contacted my bank, obtained the transaction ID and Approval Code, which clearly showed the payment was successfully processed, and essentially called him out on his BS by forwarding all the evidence directly to him but he refused to provide his end of the transaction details.) If you care about your money going to honest people and businesses, I would not recommend booking your stay here.

I loved the vibe of the hostel, the people, and the amazing atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help. The capsules were super comfortable and offered great privacy, which I really appreciated. I also enjoyed the entertainment room and the training space, both were excellent additions. Nothing, everything was great.

During the night I went to the toilet and the only available toilet was flooding the entire bathroom and corridor. Dormitory very humid, and cold during nights because of AC.

The rooms are huge with really clean facilities. The free dinner is a really nice touch and especially great before a night out. I like the pool and the whole vibe here is really nice and social. I was recommended this place and I’d recommend to others.

One of the best hostels I‘ve stayed while travelling around the world. A place created with much love, lovely dog, nice travellers and lovely staff. They know the names of every guest and are still smiling. Thank you so much!

Nice tourists staying in the hostel You may be charged for storing your belongings in the storage room, but you’ll only find out when you go to pick them up. I saw the worst mold of my life here. The staff didn’t bother to clean it, even though they promised they would. Drying racks are placed in the gym, where there’s no airflow, so clothes don’t dry for two days and start to smell. It’s not even the wet season. I’ve stayed in other places since December, including during the rainy season last year for three months, and my clothes always dried quickly, within a few hours when racks were in front of the rooms, or by the next day if it rained. I decided to speak with the owner about the issue. Many guests had been talking among themselves about how the clothes weren’t drying properly. I mentioned that I would raise it with the manager, and during the day, two people even asked me if I’d already done so. Clearly, I wasn’t the only one who noticed the problem. It's also very inconvenient after taking a shower—you have to leave the dorm, put on your shoes, often walk through the rain, take your shoes off at the gym, hang up your clothes, put your shoes back on, walk back to the dorm, and take your shoes off again. If drying racks were in front of the dorms, after the shower, simply hanging the clothes. After discussion about the drying racks with the owner, I was asked to leave the hostel. He claimed I was rude to the staff when I explained how to clean the mold properly. In reality, I believe the real issue was that I hurt someone’s fragile ego. It became clear that trying to resolve problems here is pointless. He even charged me for storing my things. The reason the owner didn’t agree to placing the drying racks in front of the dorms is because, as he said himself, he doesn’t want to see clothes hanging all around the hostel—he wants them all in one place, in the gym. Later, he accused me of being rude to other guests.
