It was very close to the train station and subway. With in walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The pillow that came with the bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

As a family, having a restaurant right next door with roomy 4-6 seat benches was very easy to work with. The room although clean and modern enough, wasn't too comfortable. It's a business hotel though so as expected.

Room size was good. If you stay in the new wing then although the hotel is on the main road you are set back and it is quiet. Laundry facility is good as is the drinks in the lobby. One staff asked me to leave my key when I was going out, this seemed to be a policy or a way for them to know when to clean the room but the way they asked was more like a command than a request. I did not comply as I dislike having to queue at the front desk on returning to the hotel just to get a key. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station which is okay but if you have heavy luggage you should be ready for that.
