Great locationn The bathroom was incredibly small and there was central heating meaning we could not cool the room at night. The windows did not help cause they could only open slightly.

Pretty roomy space for the price. The staffs is very helpful and hospitable. The room is clean and the location is pretty quite. Like very other review, the bathroom is very small and doesn't have alot of head room, I have to kneel down to wash my face.

The room was more spacious than other rooms in big cities in Japan. The staff was flexible with our check-in time, and could do it by ourselves. Besides, there's a big temple right in front of the hotel if you're into those. The bathroom was small, it felt like taking a shower in a boat. It's 20-30 minutes by bus from the main train station and 20 minutes on foot from local train stations, but you have bus stops just 2-3 minutes away.

The staff went above and beyond to help me. I really appreciated all their efforts. The extra amenities they offered were also great. The location is fantastic, right across from Nijo Castle and easily accessible to all other tourist locations in Kyoto. The room was comfortable and clean, although the bed was a little hard for my liking. Overall, it was a terrific stay, and I would stay there again next time in Kyoto.
