A beautiful family run traditional Inn, you are spoiled from your first step into the grounds and it doesn’t end until you’re on your way to your next destination. The place is amazing! The food is perfect. The room is very comfortable and clean! The staff are kind, friendly and welcoming. It was worth every penny! Nothing! It was perfect!

The staff was very welcoming. Garden was beautiful. It wasn’t comfortable. I got there after a long day of touring and there was nowhere to lay down or just relax in a comfortable chair. I ended up laying on the hard ground!! The bed was actually comfortable when it was set up, but the rest of the space, while large and nicely decorated, wasn’t comfortable. The TV didn’t work, and there was no hot water for a bath or shower. The dinner was very average. I didn’t stay for the breakfast because the food just seemed underwhelming.

Nothing really. Incredible overall. Just know what you're signing up for. This is not a modern luxury property, it's a traditional Japanese Ryokan with unbelievable service.

Fantastic service, wonderful food, authentic old world experience. The staff were so incredibly kind and service oriented, we highly recommend. The only thing I should have anticipated better was the inability to relax in the room, with no couch or beds until after the meal is served.

Upon checking in we were immediately greeted with smiling faces and welcoming energy. I loved the staff and the homey vibes of the interior design. The welcoming tea was a fun surprise and learning the traditional way to wear a kimono was memorable. This is an intimate onsen experience perfect for a peaceful getaway.
