Convenient location, hospitable staff, clean facilities, great services available (vending machine, laundry, coffee and tea). Just how small the room was but we made it work!

The room is much smaller then I thought, and you need the settle your own mattress sheets and blankets.

Great location, clean and safe, very reasonable price, laundry on site, each bed had personal light/charge station, the showers were clean with amazing shower heads, and Japanese toilets!

Well, laid out, high-quality amenities, a very good stay. The location is hard to beat! There are a lot of rules posted about when you can, or cannot charge your cell phones. I understand the need to prevent fires, but it seemed a little over the top.

Located right outside a subway entrance; very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Not too far (15 min walk) from Kyoto Station or the Nishiki market. Clean and organized hostel. To be clear, it is more like a hostel. A mini fridge would have been nice to have in the room.

It’s a really beautiful and clean property. Very value for money for the location and a great place to get around Kyoto. Bed is very comfortable and you get a fresh change of towel and room wear every day. A quadruple room is still too small for 4 people with big luggages but that’s just how it is in most Japanese properties.

The location was one stop away from Kyoto station, making it really easy to get to the major subway lines and the Shinkansen. The laundry machines were great since you could pay using your Suica card. I had a single room. It was just enough space for my carry on bag and some of the best sleep I got the entire stay in Japan. No complaints.
