Location, how clean it was, friendly staff The cushion and mattress was a little uncomfortable

The facilities were nice and the location is great. Staff isnalso very professional and friendly. The bed: an air mattress is more comfortable than whatever they have. It's just a very thin topper, you're essentially sleeping on wood. And the pillow is literally made of small hard (cardboard/plastic) pieces with no sign of softness. Also the bedsheets still contained hairs of whoever slept there earlier. And my body was constantly itching the whole night. Extremely itchy that I went somewhere else at 2 AM. Barely slept, extremely uncomfortable, not practical at all since you can't even easily access your luggage. I bought the capsule with extra room thinking I can put my luggage there and lock it. Nope to both, there's no locks, only lockers with locks. If you're a lightweight packer and used to camping, this would be fine. But if you want a reasonable sleep, please gonsokehwere else for your own good. It was so bad I slept in a manga cafe that was more comfortable than this place the first 2 nights before I could move into a better location. This fully convinced me that capsule hotels are not worth it, manga cafe is tons better.

Clean, quiet, comfy The toilets were just ok. I expected to have more control over the air conditioning in the capsule but it was just a fan ventilation (might be a bit hot during summer ?).

Amazing stay. Right in the city center, close to a lively food area, and next to a beautiful river—perfect for relaxing and taking photos in the morning. The staff are professional and very helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well organized. No shoes allowed in the sleeping area, which I really like because it keeps everything fresh. The capsule is very comfortable and well equipped. I especially like the adjustable light—soft and not too bright when you wake up. The fan adjusts automatically, so everyone stays comfortable. The pantry has hot/cold water, and coffee/tea are okay. All basic items are provided: toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, earplugs, even earphones. Towels and slippers are replaced daily. Soap, shampoo, face wash, and lotion are available in the shared bathroom. I would definitely come back if I visit Kyoto again. They also charge an extra Kyoto accommodation tax at check-in.

This is value for money, at the center of downtown Kyoto/ Pontocho area. Good place to stay for solo travelers. Stayed at the all female capsule rooms at the ground floor. The common bathroom has a washing machine and there's also a small lounge area for eating. there's a tea and coffee machine for free for guests staying at the hostel. Location is so good. Check in time is a bit late at 5PM. Wish it was earlier but you can leave your luggage with the reception staff so you can explore the area before check-in.

Beds were very comfortable, facilities constantly cleaned, friendly staff.

The location was perfect. The beds were incredibly comfortable the facilities were awesome!! Not a social hostel but it was amazing nonetheless!! That we couldn’t use the toilet before or after check in.
-
I hit my head several times because of the height of the cubicle
-
Central location, helpful staff, premium facilities Bed cover was too short and did not cover my whole body

Great location and great amenities. Located close to Gion, the Market streets, and night life spots. Facilities were exceptional as well! The beds are super firm, which is not ideal for me. I prefer softer mattress’s, but this may be fine for other guests. I’d stay again regardless.

I loved the iPod controlled beds, comfortable bedding, I liked that luggage was kept immediately under the bed. Showers were great with good pressure and soaps. The shared spaces were comfortable with lots of seating and the complimentary drinks were great. Great location. All staff were very kind and helpful. The longest I waited for the elevator was like 7.5 minutes which is quite long. I would have taken the stairs if they were an option. I wish there was a bath that could be used. Otherwise, really excellent stay.

The hotel was a great value and it was close to many things to do in Kyoto. It was often very hot in the room. It was hard to feel the fan when it was on.

Its quiet, clean and very comfortable

Despite being a capsule hotel, we felt like we had MUCH more space here than we did at our other hotels during our stay! We really enjoyed the multi-sink toiletry area, the little lounge, and the free hot beverages. The bathroom amenities were also very appreciated (e.g., makeup remover, lotion, etc.). The location near Pontocho was also really neat. As with many capsule hotels, the locker area can get crowded if there are multiple guests trying to access their luggage all at once. My big suitcase fit inside the locker easily, but I would still recommend a smaller size of luggage for ease of maneuvering in the locker area.

The mattresses at this location were a little thin, causing an ache in my hip when I slept on my side. Further, the private room section of the deluxe capsule was barely wide enough for me to stand perpendicular to the walls.
