The kindest staff! Perfect location, it’s so easy to get everywhere from the hostel.

Beautiful property in a great location. The staff were all so great and the meals are delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed about 2 weeks at Niniroom and absolutely loved it! Everything was super clean, well-maintained and organized. The room was cozy and the bed very comfy. Share kitchen was very well equipped. Bathrooms were meticulously cleaned - probably the cleanest shared hostel bathroom I’ve used! We had to work most days so it was a blessing to have access to the cafe and lounge spaces, which were perfect for getting work done (not to mention saved us quite a bit of money that would have otherwise been spent on coworking!) An added bonus is that the cafe lunch set is delicious and very affordable. I loved that the Kamo River was so nearby - beautiful for a morning or evening walk. Lastly, the staff are SO friendly and kind and all the guests were very respectful during our entire stay. Would absolutely return! Nothing! The only thing to be aware of is that if you have a smaller room then there’s not much space for luggage if you’re travelling with a partner but it’s totally workable even so.

Friendly welcoming staff, and very relaxed atmosphere at the hostel. The lounge is a great area to hang out. Facilities are exceptionally clean. Location is easily accessible via subway from main station.

Very friendly Nothing

The staff were so helpful and kind. And the food was delicious.

Incredibly kind and helpful staff, I watched them go absolutely above and beyond for a guest who needed help. The hostel has great facilities and is in a perfect location for walking to the market, sight seeing temples, and is close to transport. The hostel also has a cafe that is open to the public so it was just really nice to be in a shared space with locals and your fellow travellers. I found the people staying here both kind and respectful. Also the bed was so comfortable! Our room was a lot smaller than I anticipated, so if that's not your thing, this might not be the place for you if you just want to stay in your room. In the end, I found the small room was great as it kept us in the main space, which was really lovely. My partner and I were able to store our suitcases under the table and negotiate the small amount of floor space to make it work. If you have really really big suitcases however you might have trouble.

Staffs are very polite with a big smile. too Expensive: very simple room without any amenities, bathroom and shower costed 20000 yen (140 dollar) per night. unbelievable
