The only gripe I would have is the lack of comfort in bedding. A small mattress, but that seems to be the case everywhere I’ve gone so no biggy!

A bit expensive and the beds were not very comfortable due to noises made from the wooden boards

Closeness to Arashiyama. Clean room and facilities. Dryer didn't work that well. It worked but won't completely dry my laundry.

Very good location! They had a coupon for a hot spring called Fu Fu no Yu which aaa so much fun. We only stayed for one night but it was very clean and comfortable!

The staff were friendly, especially Yuko. I had a pleasant interaction with her from my arrival date Some nights were cold, and the cover was light to keep off the cold

Their service, smile and attitude are exceptional!! Nothing. It was perfect!

The beds and pillows were seriously uncomfortable. The bed was just the thinnest layer of bad above wooden planks. I woke up in pain every day. There weren't many food places in the area.

The staff here is super duper kind. The whole place breaths the boutique hotel atmosphere. Beds were very good and rooms and furniture seemed new. The desk was comfortable because there was a reading light on it. The curtain was very decent too! Also I appreciated the estheatic of the shared washing room. The amenities were superb bc Mulan provides facial cleanser amongst others. The kitchen and lounge is beautifully decorated too. The coffee machine was cool too and appreciated by my Mom? Also staff provided beautiful maps that were usefull to find our way the city. The breakfast was provided by cafe ran zan. Which is in located in the next street and a cozy place!

Honestly I liked everything and people are so friendly And this small nice details like flowers decoration ?…. I can reconsider from my heart ❤️ to stay there and I will come back

The whole hostel is really cute and cozy, the reception girl was so sweet and nice!! Very helpful as well!! The beds are quite comfortable and spacious. The showers were also quite nice with a space to change. The location is perfect to check some outdoors activities in Kyoto. City center is two metro stations away as well.

Great location in Arashiyama. Didn’t feel like value for money. One of the most expensive places we’ve stayed in this trip but it’s a hostel with shared facilities. Probably to do with the limited number of accommodation facilitaties this area.

Location. Shower was mouldy, room was particularly noisy, tiny stairs and no lift. I had to give a time of arrival, it wasn’t enough to let staff know that I’d be there during the check in period.
