A modern hotel close walking proximity to subway station and nearby malls. . Room is decently sized with modern decor. Option for no breakfast, which is fine as the konbini in close walking distance. Check in process is fast and staff are courteous and speaks good English It is a little tight to fully take out the luggage, but at least there is a luggage rack provided.

Best hotel breakfast I had in Japan. Not too many options but it seems to be normal in the country, and all the option I tried were very tasty. Room was very clean and tidy. Water was hot enough and internet speed was good. Loction is very good as it's close to a metro station and a few good restaurants. Staff wasn't too friendly, which we didn't expect as Kyoto people are known for being friendly and polite. One of the guys at reception coudln't understand my english.

Nice clean hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Few minutes walk from Bus and train. Really helpful staff.. who let me store my luggage till check in time. Very helpful with directions and also gave us umbrellas on a rainy day.

The hotel is very comfortable and spacious. The location is great. The coffee machine in the lobby is very convenient. They store the luggage after check-out, which helped us a lot. It's not very close to the subway, but there are many restaurants in the area. We had a terrible experience with the laundry. Only 2 washing machines are insufficient for the size of the hotel; we tried to use them for 3 days, and on the third day we only managed to get availability close to midnight.

Nice and clean, staff were friendly A little far for walking to places we wanted to visit or convenient stations, but still good location

This was the best hotel during my 13 Day Japan trip. It was bigger by japanese standards. Quite close to the train station and bus stop. 7-11 and Lawson at walking distance.

The room was very nice and clean. The location was good. Everything was a very good value for money.

Located in Shijo just two stations away from Kyoto. For me it was very comfortable to travel with my luggage. My room was spacious and descent. Also I enjoyed the morning breakfast very delicious. They also have laundry however only two washing machines for entire hotel which was always busy. Even I tried sneaking at 1130pm and 7am but no luck as it was busy plus I didnt undertand how to use it as machine always needs coins to start with however in my previous hotel in tokyo it only needs detergent powder. That was bit disppointed as I wanted to use laundry.

1) Location that very close to Shijo station and Shijo district 2) Hotel lobby that has classic/ traditional Japan atmosphere 3) Free coffee (UCC) in the lobby for guests 4) Japanese traditional breakfast with freshly made onigiri 5) I got best price deal.. Room is a bit small (16m2), but I think it's acceptable for the price deal offered.

Excellent location, very close to metro and walking distance to lot of places, and good breakfast. Room is comfy. Could have complimentary water in the room.

Great location, located close to the subway and bus stops; several convenience stores nearby. The street the hotel is located on was quiet. Room was an excellent size, beds comfortable, very clean. We opted to have the breakfast buffet on our last day - very enjoyable. Loved that they make onigiri to order. Nice amenities and they had a coffee machine for guests. Would absolutely stay again next time. Nothing, it was a great stay.

Easy to walk after taking the bus. Breakfast options were DELICIOUS. Worth it.

Good location, clean rooms, nice staff, good breakfast. -

It’s close enough to walk to the center but far enough away to avoid the noise. The area has a lot of lovely cafes and dining options. Our room was spotless and spacious enough for two. Soundproofing was a major plus as it was very peaceful. For Japan’s standards, the price and quality balance is spot on. Would definitely stay again! .

We opted for the hotel breakfast, and it was well worth it. They make fresh, warm onigiri with a choice of fillings to your order, as well as a varied buffet of Japanese and western breakfast items. There is a coffee machine with latte options in the lobby available all the time, as well as the usual kettle and green tea in your room. The location was convenient, as it is close to the subway stop just two stops north of Kyoto Station, so easy to access with luggage. It was a comfortable half-hour walk to the Gion district, closer to Nishiki Market, and easy to catch buses for places farther away. The staff was friendly and helpfully stored luggage when we arrived early. This is not a complaint, just for information. Kudos to the hotel for fitting a little couch and side table into the tiny room. The couch was hard and got uncomfortable quickly, but it served its purpose and I was able to enjoy a cup of tea while doing some writing.

The location, the spacious room, the pajamas. Everything was great!

It wasn’t very clean. The laundry machines doesn’t dry at all (it doesn’t matter how many money you put but theres a laundromat near by luckily).
-
Located in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to city centre and many good restos Very quiet room, merely noise at night The room may be too small for 2 ppl, which is a normal case in JP
