The facility was very clean and it had everything that makes a good hostel. The pillows were quite flat and the lockers were not large enough for a backpacking backpack

Clean facilities, easy and smooth check in/ check out process. I like that they have lockers and luggage storage for those that need it. Amazing location within walking distance to many highlight spots in Kyoto! Nothing

The ventilation fan was straight above my bed, and very loud, but easily turned off at the entrance of the room.

The hostel was in the best location! Everything was within walking distance without being in the middle of a busy street. It was very quiet at night. Everyone followed the quiet hours and was courteous. The rooms and facilities were extremely clean. The AC also worked very well and the room was kept cold all night! The top bunks had a thin futon and were very uncomfortable. That is the only issue I had but the bottom bunks had mattresses! The laundry room was incredibly hot. It was very hard to get laundry in and out of the room because of how hot it was. But all of the laundry dried within one 30 minute cycle!

The staff was kind enough to upgrade me to a private room, and there was no hassle about that. I'm near the common bathroom and toilet, and elevator, but did not hear any noise coming. Had a relaxed and peaceful stay in this place! Nothing

location very clean room only downside was the check in , you can only do it at exactly 3:00pm , you cannot do it in advance. In this case , the line builds up to road side of the hotel , so better if your early like 2:50pm and go directly to the counter then wait

The hostel is well located, not far from the Kyoto station and really near other station so it was easy to commute. It's also not far from Gion so it's nice to take a night walk around. Also in the neighborhood you can find everything you need (Restaurant, shop, bar) We were 6 in the room with only one shower and there was not other bathroom to use so sometime it was a little annoying to have to wait on other people to be done to be able to take a shower and go to sleep

My room was clean and comfortable, good value for money There were no power outlets close to my bed.
