Great location. Room was a good size and convenient . All clean. Staff very helpful. No problems.

Central location with comfortable beds. Access to washer dryer was appreciated. Large bathroom/shower area. Very quiet. Walking distance to many attractions. The room was dark as we were on the first floor.

The facility and room were very clean, the staff was vert friendly. It was well located to get around on foot with good access to pubic transportation. The room had a mix of Japanese with a low table so you sat on the floor, and it had a lot of ambiance. We are 76 and loved it, but I could see where senior people might not like it. It certainly would appeal to younger couples.

If you are looking for something a little more "Japanese" the room we had was excellent. Beds were not on the floor, but the room had a raised floor in the living space and a low table so you had to sit on the floor to use it. It had all the amenities we we wanted and it was in a great location near the Geisha district, restaurants all around, and easy access to public transportation to reach other sites. It would be a very nice place for young couples. The room had a lot of ambiance. We like the space, but I wouldn't advise this for seniors (although we are in our mid 70's).

This was a last minute booking for us as we decided to stay an extra night in Kyoto and wanted something close to our previous accomodation to have an easy transfer. We turned up at 10:15am, front staff was wonderful, so caring and welcoming. She checked us in and stored our luggage until 4pm when we could access the room. Room was great size for a family of 4, and the shower amazing. Beds were comfy (for Japan) and pillows too. Great location, walking distance from many yummy Gion restaurants and we also hired ebikes via Luup and explored Gion area.

Awesome location!!! Everything is within walking distance. Very clean and the room is large to accommodate 4 people. It’s a mix of modern and traditional vibe which fits perfectly to what we wanted. Nothing.

The room was big, the bed was comfortable. Location is very good. The staff is very friendly and polite. The pine scent in the lobby was too strong and unpleasant.

Room was great and the tea area was fun. Bed was super comfortable with great view. Easy walk to subway and to old town. Nothing really. Could have used a vending machine but there were a couple just a block away.

I loved this hotel! Check in was smooth and hotel staff were warm and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Size was adequate for three people with big luggages. The bed felt like a dream and sleeping on the futon was very comfortable. Amenities provided were good too. The hotel staff even provided us with hot packs/hand warmers when the weather was getting cold, which was a lovely touch. It's located in a quieter part but we loved that as it always felt nice walking back home from the busier parts of Kyoto. A bit of a walk to the train station with the elevator exit especially with big luggages, but not too much of a hassle. Would stay here again for sure! Nothing! I was very satisfied with our stay here.

Loved the layout of the room and the bed and futon were comfortable. Nothing comes to mind.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectation. The staff was courteous and kind. The room was impeccable, and gave a truly authentic Japanese experience. We would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

The bed was so tight for an adult and even im not overweight.
