The room was a bit small, difficult to accommodate luggage bags, the toilet is small too

I was able to relax in a spacious, clean room. Just that the plumbing of the bathroom made weird trickling water noise every now and then, and the faucets and the shower head weren't very nice.

Ok hotel with decent size rooms. Very good shower The Toyoko hotels only let you check in at 16:00 hours if you are not a member of their program. If you are a member you can check in at 15:00 hours. I don’t like these schemes to pressure people into their loyalty programs

It's a nice hotel in a perfect location. Very close to the Karsuma Station, even walkable from the Kyoto station. Easy check-in and check-out. The hotel staff were nice and courteous. Ample Breakfast menu. If you are a non-smoker, it's better to choose a non-smoking room—the smoke from other smoking rooms slightly leaks among the smoking rooms.

The hotel is pretty close to the subway and the station, rooms are not too small. Smoking rooms are stinky, and the pillows are rock hard, it is literally impossible to sleep on them. In 2024 hotels should move to memory foam pillows ot at least provide them upon request. Japanese style pillows are terrible.

The breakfast buffet was great! Location is also pretty good if you want to get around on foot or using the bus/subway. You're also near the Karasuma shopping area.

Very clean with all necessary equipment required. Very friendly staff and an ordinary breakfast. waiting lift a bit longer time during busy period.

A short walk from the subway station. Decent free breakfast. Very good value. Hard bed/pillow but that is the norm in Japan.

Simple hotel with a nice location. Rooms have the necessary amenities, so nothing to complain about it. The breakfast is nice but quite simple (buffet type but with few options). Not that I didn’t like it but I think is an important remark.
