Central location in Downtown Kyoto, a few minutes from the nearest subway station and walking distance from a lot of convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful and offered a welcome drink voucher when we arrived. Very clean rooms and big bathrooms. The decor could use an update, but other than that everything was great.

Bed was very comfortable and toilet very clean. The staff was very nice. Breakfast is a la carte, not super wide but prepare at the moment so super fresh (honey toast was amazing) and on request the chef was open for little variations that we asked. The luggage shipment was super easy and fast with them. Metro and bus are few minutes walking. Highly recommend!! Just a bit limited options in the breakfast, like 6-7, but with basically the same ingredients. Whatever as I said it was very fresh and good and chef was open to small things. I would like to suggest to just add a bit more of variety! I am a bit sensitive with light in the early morning, and the curtain didn't block 100% the light but was still effective

Very beautiful and renovated hotel, value for money seen Kyoto prices and in a walkable distance from the center of Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and overall would highly recommend it!

The staff is very friendly and the location is great just few minutes away from Shijo and lively Gion. So we were 3 and the room has almost no space to walk around.

The staff was respectful and helpful. The room was spacious, and quiet. Great location with good restaurants, coffee shops and metro/ train station close by. Loved everything!

Chose this hotel as it is near to train station & convenience stores. Walking distance from Family Mart and 7-Eleven. From Kyoto Station, you will need to change station with only 2 stops to reach this hotel. For the price, the size of the room is quite big. We brought 2 large luggages and 1 cabin bag. The room is cleaned & comfortable. The iron is on request basis but not a major concern.

A nice, clean hotel with very helpful staff. They provide fresh towels and drinking bottle water outside the door every day, even when we put up the "Do Not Disturb" sigh. We love it It's about 1 15-20 minute walk to the busy Shijo-Kawaramachi area, which is a little bit far.

We stayed 5 nights and you get same 5 options breakfast all western like eggs and sandwiches so was kind of boring after 3 days but all delicious food anyway

A great place – the staff is beyond praise, always eager to help. The location is fantastic, very convenient for getting around the city. The room is very spacious, and most importantly - a full-size bathroom.

Location was fabulous with bus stop, subway and train nearby. Lots of excellent dining options close by. Service was extraordinary! I left a broken bead off an earring bwhind in the bathroom and after checkout I messaged the hotel. Asame the receptionist tracked it down and arranged for it to be courier delivered to my future hotel!! This exceeded all expectations! Newly remodeled, sleek decor, elegant. The location was excellent. Complimentary welcome drinks in the lounge:).
