Reviews

Location was great, staff was friendly, room was incredibly clean. Only gripes were the size of the room and the uncomfortable pillow.
-
Nothing in particular

The location was so close to so many restaurants and stores and attractions! They also offer an amazing breakfast for only 800 yen with free coffee and ice cold water throughout the day. Take a walk behind the hotel next to the stream and river to find so many hidden gems including restaurants and nightlife on the weekend. The room and bed were very comfortable and the hotel unexpectedly provided free amenities such as epsom salts for the bath. The week went by too fast!

everything was great. nothing.

The staff is friendly, it’s super well located, the hotel is clean and the rooms are very good for Japanese standards. The breakfast is very poor in options. I had and issue with the fan on my bathroom which I had to wait everytime it turned on to turn off by itself since I called the receptionist and with the cleaning lady they came to that conclusion . For me who is a person very sensitive to noise it was a big issue.

The bed was hard

The staff are quite lovely as well.

The room may seem a little bit outdated.

Position was excellent, the hotel clean and comfortable ( I was traveling solo ) Nothing

The location is not far from station, clean and having day light. Some time have a loud noise of shouting and traffic.
-
Loved the location and overall style of the hotel Just the size of the room, but that’s coming from an American so I already knew it was smaller than what I would normally be used to
-
The staff are friendly and nice. One of them even can speak fluent Chinese. The room is new and clean.
-
Great location , room was on 8F and had such a nice view! I wish they had a trash can in the bathroom
-
Loved the location. Right behind hotel beautiful walking trail full of cherry blossoms lining a small canal that has lots of great restaurants and leads right to the Main Street you walk to for temple and Geisha. We saw several in the evening hours. So beautiful, but we took no pictures and respected their space, as that has been a problem with tourists.

The staff are friendly. There isn't much varieity of choices in the break. I reserved for four breakfast. The food is in good quality. But In the end of my stay, I somewhat got tired of having the same things every morning. Perhaps there is no need to book more htan two breakfasts. The location is superb, very close to downtown for shopping and the traditional market. I would defintely stay again for next visits.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and were able to communicate in English, which I really appreciated. The room had every facility you could need and the hotel was quiet and clean. Location is great and very central. Nothing.

The reception was great during my stay.

Nothing to complain about other than trying to figure out the best train station to get off when travelling from Kyoto Station. Google took me the longest route possible lol.
