Breakfast on the balcony over the water. The attentive staff.

The Hotel is very unique. You feel like the King and Queen of the castle. A few nights I think we were only guests. Lisa and Clara were so sweet and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely. We love the art, decor, garden area, river view and indoor as well as outdoor pool.

The place is exceptional! The rooms are large and spectacularly decorated with unique furniture and interesting art. The co managers Clara and Lisa were very helpful providing whatever we needed, even guiding us to the parking garage in a rainstorm. Lisa walked us to a restaurant one evening to make sure we got there and were able to get in.Best hotel we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot! Nothing

Zahara and Mark are incredible hosts with great artistic taste. They helped to book restaurants for us. The breakfast is excellent and the house is beautiful. We enjoyed so much our stay here. None

This was a truly unique experience to stay in a newly renovated monastery. It has a truly authentic feel and unique touch with special art, and all located very centrally to everything that you need in town. This was also a great location to be able to visit other villages in the area. We loved the pool and the staff was excellent. We would have loved a little bit more in terms of breakfast selection. (We stayed 5 days!) other than that, I cannot recommend Palais enough!

The bathroom in our room (Mondrian) was amazing. It was huge with a giant tub that easily fit two. The room itself was also massive and was well-appointed with a view of the courtyard. The stone stairwell was impressive and Tomas took our bags to our room so we didn't have to carry them ourselves. Tomas was super friendly and had a lot of great information for us about the town. The breakfast was the same every day - it could have more variety.

We arrived to a wonderful, elegant and very arty big house. Full of history and beautiful. Our first room was traditional and elegant but on a hot day, they air-conditioning wasn't working. The owners immediately changed our room and it was modern and fun. Lovely owners and hosts and staff. The two pools were heated and were in a beautiful garden and peaceful. Being in a central location, you stepped out of the enclosed walls in to the lovely village. Breakfast was superb with local breads, pastries, salmon, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, everything you needed. Coffee and tea available through out the day and all very elegant and luxurious. We ate on a balcony over the gently flowing river. It was like being in your own home. Nothing, it was wonderful and we would stay again if we visited Isle sur la Sorgue. We were a bit worried about parking in open parking nearby in a public car park but all was ok and only 4 minutes away for us to check on each day.

Terrific boutique hotel in a superb location
-
It is really a one off type of property, If you like the finest things in life this is the place to go. Guests should be sent to the main entrance on the web site, other wise hard to find.

It's hard to describe this amazing boutique hotel in the heart of an amazing town. The building is a former convent and 500 years old. You can feel the history as you climb the stone steps to your room. The owners pay attention to every detail and it shows. They are continuing to make it better with massage rooms, yoga studios, 2 pools, furnished apartments, etc. I had breakfast on a metal balcony over a bubbling stream. It was the highlight of my trip in Provence. I'd love to come back with my husband or a girl's trip. It would be difficult for someone with physical challenges.

We were impressed by interiors in the hotel as well as in the room (we stayed in Cezanne room), really beautiful, it greatly adds to the experience from observing L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Breakfast offering was fantastic - my wife and I sat on a small balcony, above a small stream in the early morning sunshine. Beautiful! Nothing!

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is famous for its art and antique galleries, and Artishow is like living inside one. It's an oasis, right in the center of town yet hidden on a side street. The shell of the place is medieval, but the rooms are large and contemporary, themed by artist; ours, Vasarely, was full of original works by him. The public spaces include more art, lounges, and even a treadmill lap pool. Breakfast tables are set directly over the gorgeous Sorgue river, and Isabelle, our gracious and charming host, sets out a scrumptious spread of jams, smoked trout, cheeses, homemade crepes, and even fresh fruits and vegetables to juice. This goes in the B&B hall of fame.
