Hotel Le Privilege

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nicest people I met in Paris, went above and beyond!

It's close to the airport. Good for a one night stay when you have an early flight the next day. It's too basic and in a sketchy neighborhood.

It was comfortable after a long day. I liked how they had little treats for us there when we got there. The beds were nice to sleep in. The shower could have been a little cleaner.

The question of bfast is not applicable since that was not served at the hotel. The one good thing was that transport into the Paris was very easy and accessible since the tram was a cool minute or 2 walk away from the hotel. The metro was also very close to the hotel. The location on the other hand as not the best since the streets were not very clean neither was the metro. The buildings and the surroundings were not very attractive.

Well located with friendly staff. Good public transport with a tram stop near the entrance, and easy to get to the airport. Very pleased to see external shutters on the windows, which at the beginning of July when it's still light outside at nearly 11pm, meant it was pitch black inside. Clean room and a nice firm mattress, not like some where you sink into them and end up with back ache. The room was a bit small and the tram running past the front can be noisy when it runs. Fortunately that didn't bother me. Any rooms on the north side would be quiet though.

Staff friendly, good value compared to others. It was clean and bed comfortable which is important. When i arrived the reception was locked, no note on door or anything. I rang bell several times. This is a cardinal sin in hospitality. First impressions count. I was not sure what to do. Finally someone came but i was now annoyed. The room was very tatty. Hole in badly fitting curtain, burns in floor, scruffy bathroom, a shower that was very odd.

The guy at the desk seemed nice. Absolutely disgusting. Everything was absolutely filthy, the bathroom stank like a sewer, the blanket on the bed looked like it had never been washed, and the sheets (which looked clean) were so scratchy and uncomfortable that we used our silk inners from Asia.

Pleasant staff Empty fridge, microwave and kettle in room. But no milk, coffee or biscuits (but did offer free coffee at reception). Shower head sprayed all directions! Cigarette burns on bathroom shelf.
