We needed a place for a night after watching a concert in Stade-de France. This hotel was reasonable and did what it said on the tin.

We rented the hotel due to a concert in Paris stade stadium and location was really convenient. Only one bus distance. Many things...to start we were given a room where the AC was damaged so when i entered the room there was water falling down the roof. I found that quite oddy after a 7hrs journey. Then they changed to another room. Additionally, staff members in breakfast room were not so welcoming and a little disrespectful when we tried to get our breakfast. You need to pay first. We did and even though we showed our receipt at the host they followed us to the table to inquiry if we had already paid... i mean, this is why you provide a credit card as warranty right?

Clean and comfortable

The air conditioner was not working as expected; the room was not getting cooler. And the credit card was not accepted; only debit was accepted, which was not comforting.

Location, breakfast and bed AC does not work properly, if you plan to stay to during summer please avoid this hotel

The room was clean and beds comfortable, and it was the most affordable place fairly close to the city centre.

-
Near to downtown the location is very good

3 persons are not comfortable when the 3rd bed is bunkbed. Too noisy and smoking people from parking lot downstairs. Air conditioning not sufficient to be comfortable.

Chose this hotel because it was cost effective. Breakfast was good. Within walking distance to metro stop, boulangerie, a park and grocery store. Far from the main tourist destinations in Paris, about 30 minutes by metro. To access RER B to CDG airport, had to back track and take two metro lines to arrive at Gare du Nord.

We thought it would be close to the metro when we arrived later in the evening from Bordeaux. That part was fine. The hotel seemed odd, like a social service housing complex. We got our room and the receptionist did say we could get an upgrade the following night if the room was not satisfactory. It was not!!! Even though it was clean, it smelled as if a family of smokers had been living in the room for a week. I tried opening the window but the smoke would also come from someone smoking outside. The smell permeated every surface, to the extent that my nightclothes absorbed it (I noticed when I went to use it the following night in another hotel). At 3:30am, the noise in the hallway started as people were returning to their room. The room next door seemed to have children jumping or banging on the wall. It finally stopped around 5am. The next morning I asked about an upgrade and they said they could accommodate us later that day. However, my mind was made up to lose the cost of the 2nd night and just move to another hotel where I felt safe and clean. While I was at the reception on day 2, there was a security incident at a room 3 doors from ours. I did not wish to find out what the issue was. We checked out immediately. I will never go to an Ibis Budget again. That was such a terrible experience.
