B&B HOTEL Paris Porte de la Villette

This was one of the worst hotels we stayed at during our trip across Europe—probably the worst. As soon as we entered the room, we were hit by a very strong bleach smell. On top of that, the bathroom had a persistent sewage odor that made the stay quite unpleasant. The towels also looked dirty and did not seem properly cleaned. The location was another disappointment. It was about a 30-minute trip from the main tourist attractions, making it inconvenient for sightseeing. The surrounding neighborhood also didn’t feel particularly safe or welcoming, especially in the evening. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay and would not choose this hotel again.

Installation work was done during our stay in the room, while still in bed. Repairs like an electrical outlet out of order and leaking shower cabin should be repaired

Extremely good air conditioning. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and compact but comfortable. Pet friendly which is a huge benefit as we were cooling off during a heatwave in Paris. It’s a good option for a cheap stay that’s clean to cool off with your pets. The location is a bit iffy but it’s not too bad. The rooms look much nicer than the surroundings.

The room was so tiny, especially the shower. The location was convenient for me based on my trip goal. It was clean No AC available at the time, no TV channels available, the shower and bathroom so small

Very comfortable bed, very clean room, warm shower, everything about the hotel itself was great! The neighborhood is very scary and unsafe. If I was traveling alone I would not stay here. We made sure to try to come back before dark every night.

It was not in the nicest area. While it was fine to walk around during the day, as young female travelers we felt very unsafe there. Especially at night. We would warn that solo female travelers avoid this area.

Clean and safe parking

The staff were super nice and helpful Facilities were not in the best shape. Parked in the hotel garage at level -5 and the elevator was broken. Room was okay, but not kept up to standards of other similar hotels.

The hotel plus the room was spotless very clean and the staffs were very nice I recommend going there.

Internet and elevator

From the moment I entered the hotel, I liked how welcoming Hugor (the receptionist) was and how warm and smiley he was; it made me feel at home. I traveled alone for the first time, and I really, really enjoyed my stay there. Also Hugor is the best. If you ever see him, know that you're in good hands. I wasn't able to Cast from my phone to the TV since it wasn't hooked to the internet. I felt a bit stuck because I couldn't enjoy anything on TV.

It was not very clean. We smelled weed during the night on our floor and there were bugs in our room.

I like the cleaning of the room daily. Not enough pillows and towels

Neat room + friendly staff Location

The property appears outdated and does not feel well maintained. Noise levels are noticeable, and the surrounding area is less desirable. The pricing seems consistent with the hotel’s overall condition and location.
