Plamedie (Hotel Manager) and Djeneba went above and beyond to make sure me and my family stay went smoothly. One of the most pleasant staff members in a hotel I have ever met. Hotel beds were super comfortable, approximately a 15-20mins drive from Gare du Nord station for the Eurostar, good strong free wifi, breakfast had a good continental selection, 7 mins walk to nearest train station and, a few local shops and food spots around. Short but decent stay with security at night time to make you feel safe. Only 2 major things to point out are, there was no mini hotel bathroom toiletries and or bathrobe/ slipper provided . No mini fridge in room. There was 2 occasion room services knocked on the door and just barged in without giving a few second gap after knocking. Considering it's a 4 star, you'd expect the little things not to be looked over.

Nice interior. Very good staff. The elevator kept breaking down and stopping - its lights would turn off too. I got stuck in a dark elevator 6 times during my 4 night stay. One time was stuck for half an hour. Used towels in my hotel room I called room service to ask for an iron and board, they said they would send someone but the person only came like 40 minutes after I had to call again to see if they were coming or not No smoking in hotel balcony which is irritating I booked two single beds. They said they booked me for that but when I arrived it was a double, had to go to 4 rooms to finally have two singles which were basically a double which had a 1cm gap in between - very uncomfortable as I was travelling as a teenage female with a male friend from school Directions around hotel confusing with lifts

Nothing Terrible experience. I booked for two people, but only one person actually checked in and stayed at the hotel. Despite this, I was charged tourist tax for the second guest as well: €16.90 charged for someone who never checked in and never stayed. When I asked them to correct the charge, they refused and tried to justify it by saying that the original reservation was for two people. They have now stopped replying to my messages completely, so I am proceeding through Booking.com and the relevant authorities and asking them to intervene. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The hairdryer worked properly. First of all, the unfriendly and unprofessional staff. The fact that the 2 persons receiving us were on their phone and as soon as they saw us started arguing who should do our check-in (no one wanted to do it and probably thought we weren't understanding what they were saying); Secondly, I had to ask for new towels after a long day in which the bedroom was not cleaned (according to the receptionist the cleaning team doesn't work after 12 pm): I waited for an hour for the towels to be sent up to the room - which didn't happen - and found her drinking alcohol in the lobby instead. After this unfortunate situation instead of an apology, I got yelled at and only got 1 big towel and 1 small towel (we were 2 persons). Apparently those are the only towels they have spare in such a big hotel. Obviously, I have no idea if I can trust this staff member because, - as I mentioned before - she was drinking alcohol while at work and I'm not sure if that's even allowed by law, it certainly didn't feel right and the staff's attitude (mostly the yelling part) made me feel really uncomfortable. As I work in the same area, I'm doing this review 2 days after my check out to have some time to diggest the disappointing experience, however, every time I think about it I'm more assured I would never treat a client or any other person that way.

Very good breakfast buffet well worth the price. I cannot believe the price paid for the room in a capital city, of that standard. Nothing to put here. No negatives whatsoever. Will stay in a Tribe hotel whenever visiting a location that has one

The room was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable for our stay. Although the facilities were basic, they met our needs. I would also like to thank the female receptionist who assisted us after the shift change. She was professional, helpful, and resolved our check-in issue promptly by arranging a room for us immediately. Our check-in experience was disappointing. We had informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving early, and this had been acknowledged. Despite this, we were asked to wait 40 minutes until the official check-in time. When we returned, the male receptionist told us that our room had been upgraded to a larger room but that it would not be ready for another hour. As we were happy with the room we had originally booked, I asked if we could check into that room instead. He responded in an unapologetic manner, saying that it was not ready either and that we would have to continue waiting. The hotel's location was also not ideal. It is quite far from the city centre, and the surrounding area did not feel particularly safe, especially at night.
