Unpleasantly surprised to find that you do not accept American currency. Fortunately, I had my card with me; otherwise, a problem. Also, a big disappointment, which may not be your fault. I love the beach. Your listing in Booking.Com said that the beach was .7 miles away. It was not. The so-called 'beach' was a harbor; no beach there. Following the instructions of Manuel and Alexa (two great employees), I caught the beach bus for Tecolete - not much of a beach. In a nutshell, your listings should be corrected to indicate that Hotel One La Paz accepts only local currency. The beach information should be corrected also. Other than that, a pleasant stay. Good restaurants, inexpensive prices (unlike Acapulco), tranquil, and OH! - that breakfast.

Breakfast was simple but greatly served, eggs w/ham, refried beans, potatoes w/ chorizo, fruit, cereal, coffee. Location is great, just a short walk to the malecón. Check in staff could’ve been a little more friendly, but very helpful regardless.

The service during check-in was excellent. During breakfast could’ve been better but in general the service level is good in the hotel. The location is good as well and has a very good price level, too. The hotel feels a little old, it could use a little bit of love and maintenance. The towels had holes in them. The breakfast service could’ve been better.

The check in time was at 3pm and I was there at 2 45pm..the staff asked me to have a seat and when it was 3pm they started attending the people who came after me to the lobby, was frustrating.

The staff was very nice and helpful the cafe bar on first floor lobby was great The elevator situation was not good as the lobby is actually not on the ground floor and elevator was always congested and or cards not working well to move from floor to location. Lobby perhaps relocate it to the first floor at entrance. Maybe change breakfast to something different every other day. But overall all good value.
