The hotel has a brown & white striped front. One can park in front of the hotel to off load luggage. Parking is available in the hotel’s detached garage. We were directed to park in an assigned space. Parking was 5 Euros per day. La Spezia is a hilly town, the “front or upper door”allows easy access to La Spezia’s Castle, via funicular. To access the city’s main shopping and museums, use the hotel’s ground level exit. The room was well appointed, spacious and modern with good lighting and the staff was very accommodating to our needs-like extra towels, pillows, & improvised second luggage rack. Breakfast was an amazing array of pastries, fresh fruit, salad making material, fruit juice, conveyor toaster, yogurt & jam station, prosciutto cotto, salami, cheese, but, (sorry), we do not recommend the eggs. The eggs at breakfast. Take them off the menu.

Well situated to central La Spezia and the water front. Breakfast is very good and the staff are always friendly. The bathroom could use a nightlight so you don’t have to turn on a light to see.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was wonderful. We asked for non smoking room, and received a room with horrible cigarette smell. The shower was small, and there was a blockage. The beds were soft and not comfortable.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! The breakfast was amazing!! The location was excellent, near shopping and restaurants. The train station and ferry depot were very accessible, and we used both modes of transportation.

Excellent views, beautiful landscapes, you can see the sea. Excellent restaurants at a low price. Fish dishes. Tourist atmosphere, atmosphere. Hiking through the mountains between the Italian villages on the sea coast. Excellent railway transport. Safety.

Location and breakfast and can accommodate 3 person in a room Old dated rooms. Bed super uncomfortable!! For what we paid I could stay in a 4 star resort and not this old hotel with uncomfortable beds
