The Hotel Boutique Hôtel La Baignoire, ideally located on the golf course of Lacanau, is a 5-minute drive from Lacanau-Océan beach and the lake. The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool from mid-May to mid-September, a relaxation area with hot tub, hammam and sauna, massage rooms, gym and yoga. On request three seminar rooms can be made available, as well as a room that can accommodate your private events (weddings, birthdays ...) overlooking the golf course. Our Trattoria Restaurant is an invitation to immerse yourself in the Italian atmosphere of the dolce vita of the 70s: faceted ball, vintage objects and authentic cuisine await you to share in joy the pleasures of the table. Our signature breakfast “The Buffet” will be served each morning with sweet and savory preparations made on site each day by our pastry chef, as well as a selection of local and seasonal products to be enjoyed indoors or on the sunny terrace. Our eclectic rooms each have a balcony overlooking the golf course or the pine forest, a bathroom designed by the famous designer Chalortte Perriand, except the Superior rooms which have a bathroom with walk-in shower in a retro and colorful style. All rooms have air conditioning, flat screen TV with C+, Apple TV, safe. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, Free parking. Everything was great. Minor details that could be improved: ventilation of the room esp. before we arrive (though humidity smell left very quickly once we opened), and power plug for hairdryer in the bathroom would be great (though we were able to borrow an extension cord from the front desk easily).

The receptionist, all of them are excellent. The spa person is amazing. The night shift person helped and even offered me a coffee as I had to wake up early for a race. The bath tub has mold and the cap leaks. The room is facing a beautiful forest, BUT they decided to place pool constructions material just infront of my terrace. The restaurant food lacked any proper selection like a nice peace of meat. The rooms have zero sound proof and was walking outside of my room in the morning and people having sex in the adjacent room and you can hear it from 25meters away in the corridor, zero privacy. Huge smell of mould or as if they just painted to cover the mould, the wardrobe feel super damp and had to leave everything in the luggage.

Ideal location for golf and the ocean Poor, tired condition even after renovation. Minimum work undertaken since changing ownership. Spa facilities unusable - sauna out of action, hamman and jacuzzi only bookable separately for maximum of 30 minutes, with almost no availability. Debris from the renovation left around the property grounds, and reducing already limited parking. Expensive room rate totally unjustified.

Superb location on a golf course- between the lakes and seafront. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Fantastic decor. We will definitely come back.

The location is very nice. Views from the room are great on the forest/golf course. We saw deers a few times too. La Baignoire restaurant/bar is a great place to have a drink or dinner and the staff is very nice. Nice to cycle around and bikes can be rented directly from the hotel. The rooms are a little basic and ours smelled of mold. No minibar to store drinks or food and no clothes horse to dry towels after the beach/swimming pool. Corridors can be noisy in the morning.

Great location. The loft was pleasant, light, very spacious and well equipped. The sofa beds were comfortable and the king size bed excellent. Spacious bathroom with 2 separate wc’s. Perfectly located on and near 2 golfcourses and biking distance to the beach. Great views from the bar/restaurant. The lack of an outside sitting area with some privacy (along walking path to other rooms). Unpleasant and disinterested service at the restaurant, no nibbles or anything to eat with drinks until 7pm.

Beautiful setting in the golf course , the 80s retro style is bright and fun. Swimming pool, jacuzzi. Very quiet. Staff were welcoming and helpful

The location, the restaurant and the dj set The room smelled like an old house (humidity smell /old person's home) The "spa"... The hamam had a horrible smell, i went to the reception, very nice staff, did everything to improve the situation... The sauna is correct. The jacuzzi is completely useless; an old construction, the waterbubbles cannot touch your body, it's just bubbles in the water, no body functionality From the "spa", you see the outdoor pool but you cannot acces, the glass door of the veranda is closed, you have to go back in the hotel to get out to the pool The dj set (great!) was announced until midnight. We went to bed at 11:30 pm, the music was loud until 2am
