We loved the very central location of The Red Lion in this unique National Trust village. It was very enjoyable staying in the middle of the main street in Lacock. We were less than five minutes walk from the main tourist attractions. The pub also served very good food: we ate there on our first night there which we very much enjoyed. The room was comfortable with a fan for the very hot weather, a kettle with tea/coffee and beautiful views from our window! The included breakfast was excellent. Nothing really. The seals around the bathroom shower was mouldy. The TV reception cuts off regularly. There was a power cut on the day we checked out. This wasn't the hotel's fault. But please bear this in mind as this apparently happens frequently in the village.

Fantastic National Trust town and the Red Lion was part of that landscape Good position in town and well positioned on the edge of the Cotswolds The serving staff were terrific but clearly had no influence on the kitchen Meals…breakfast good except no orange juice two days in a row Evening meals ok , strange menu and no sweets were delivered despite ordering them. This happened at sister pub the George I think both pubs had a leadership problem e it management or unable to get a chef Room was ok but very hot as in much hottebthan the rest of the building

All good. Our room seemed half repainted but the side of the windows really needed some work.

Clean and tidy with friendly staff.

Very charming place. Nice staff, easy to find parking at the back of the hotel. They were able to provide a baby cot on request. Had a nice sunday roast and breakfast was good.

Staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and the en suite is very up to date. Pillows were perfect and mattress was very comfortable. It is in a perfect location and the parking was free. We would love to return and stay again.

Location and character Room was full of character but needed redecoration in parts and a full spring clean. Also I requested a walk in shower at time of booking, and it was confirmed, but we were not given a room with one.
